Miranda Lambert Gives Emotional Shout-Out To Blake Shelton

Miranda Lambert isn’t afraid to show her soft side — especially when she’s talking about her husband, Blake Shelton.

Accepting the honor of being one of CMT’s Artists of the Year, the 31 year-old singer gave a special shout-out to her “rock.”

After giving a moving performance of “Holding On To You,” Miranda said, “Thank you, CMT, for this amazing night in honoring everything we work for so hard all year and all the amazing artists. My husband, I always forget to thank him, but he’s my rock — Blake Shelton.”

She continued: “He’s somewhere on TV right now, I think. But I appreciate it so much. And thank you so much to the fans for buying our music — all of our music — and giving us a great life and letting us live our dream.”Check out the video to see her emotional speech and gorgeous white lace dress!

Miranda was the only female artist to be honored by CMT, which also chose Jason Aldean and Keith Urban. Marriage was also an emotional and important topic for Keith, who dedicated his award to his wife, Nicole Kidman, and their daughters.

“There’s just real meaning in why I do what I do and it’s all from you and our girls, and I love you so much,” he said to Nicole, who blew him a kiss from the audience.
