Cute country couples were the talk of the red carpet at the 2019 ACM Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 7 and all eyes were on country star Miranda Lambert as she made her red carpet debut with husband Brendan McLoughlin.

The 35-year-old singer and the 27-year-old NYPD officer both grinned as they made their debut with Lambert rocking a stunning lime green gown with a spaghetti strap halter and McLoughlin looking dapper in a classic tailors suit.

As previously reported Lambert and McLoughlin tied the knot over the winter after meeting in early November when McLoughlin worked security at one of Lambert’s appearances on Good Morning America.

A few days after Valentine’s Day, the singer revealed that all the love from the special day inspired her to share the news that the pair wed on Instagram, writing, “In honor of Valentine’s Day I wanted to share some news. I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan Mcloughlin for loving me for…. me. #theone.”

Although Lambert didn’t win any awards at this year’s ACM Awards, she did perform and also took the stage with George Strait as part of the ACM Flashbacks series honor classic country music.

Lambert was previously married to fellow country singer Blake Shelton. The duo began dating in 2006 before marrying in May 2011 and shocked fans when they announced in July 2015 that they had divorced. Lambert went on to date singer Anderson East in 2015 and in 2018 she was linked to singer Evan Felker.
