With only a few days to go until the cast of season 28 of Dancing With the Stars is announced, the show’s official Instagram account has been teasing some of the stars included in the upcoming season’s lineup, and the latest clue seemingly points to Queer Eye star Karamo Brown.
On Friday, August 16, the series shared an image on Instagram showing a Florida A&M Rattlers banner, a sign that reads “It’s all fun and games until you enter the Real World” and more clues and asked fans to guess the celebrity they were hinting at. “Decode the clues! 🔎 You might be a cultural genius if you can guess who this star is. #DWTS,” the caption reads beside the post.
It turns out Karamo’s fans are definitely cultural geniuses as they were quick to reveal that he wen to Florida A&M University, designs bomber jackets which is on the main screen of the computer in the picture, and was also on MTV’s The Real World!
Of course, everyone will have to wait until Wednesday, August 21, when the official cast of stars and pros will be announced on Good Morning America to see if Karamo is the celebrity the post is hinting at.
A day earlier, the Instagram page, shared another casting hint with an image of a woman holding a smiley face mask in front of her face along with the caption, “We can’t wait to sing these names from the rooftops! 😄 Who do YOU want to see in the #DWTS ballroom this season?.”
Meanwhile ABC Entertainment President Karey Burke has revealed that they put Dancing With the Stars on hiatus in the spring in order to revamp the series and work on some “format tweaks and changes” which many are hoping pertain to the voting system. Burke also added that the casting lineup is going to be one of the best in the series’ history. “Resting the show does help us really, really focus on talent and … help us go after talent. We’re going after bigger stars than we have in a long time.”
Season 28 of Dancing With the Stars premieres Monday, Sept. 16 at 8/7c on ABC.
