While the model industry is booming with beautiful, talented women, more and more designers and companies are turning towards Hollywood’s best actresses to represent their brands.
At 47 years old, Julia Roberts just landed her biggest modeling gig as the new face for Givenchy and now the gorgeous Olivia Wilde, 30, is expanding her modeling portfolio after being named the new face of H&M’s Conscious Exclusive Collection.
The collection is new for the company and promotes itself as sustainable and eco-friendly, which is perfect for Wilde who is a known humanitarian and environmentalist and also worked with Birchbox along with her charity, Conscious Commerce, to make gift boxes.
“Sustainability is one of my biggest passions. I’m proud to be the face of H&M Conscious Exclusive, a collection which shows the stylishness of sustainability,” the actress said in a press release.
The line’s style is said to use prints from African, Asian and Indian cultures and are created from green fabrics like recycled polyster and organic silk and the collection is set to launch next spring online and in around 200 H&M stores globally.
It was also recently announced that Wilde will be starring in an untitled HBO project created by the likes of Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger, making her one busy woman because along with a fast-paced career, Wilde is also a new mom to son Otis whom she welcomed with fiancé Jason Sudeikis earlier this year.
