The long-running CBS drama NCIS is losing another cast member at the end of its current fifteenth season!

Pauley Perrette has played the forensic specialist Abby Sciuto since the show’s start and took to Twitter to personally confirm the rumors of her departure. “So, it is true that I am leaving NCIS after this season. There has been all kinds of false stories as to why (NO I DON’T HAVE A SKIN CARE LINE AND NO MY NETWORK AND SHOW ARE NOT MAD AT ME!),” she wrote on a note posted to Twitter.

“It was a decision made last year. I hope everyone will love and enjoy EVERYTHING ABBY not only for the rest of this season but for everything she has given all of us for 16 years. All the love, all the laughter, all the inspiration…I love her as much as you do.”

The series is currently airing season 15 and stars Mark Harmon, Sean Murray, Emily Wickersham, Wilmer Valderrama, Maria Bello, Brian Dietzen, Duane Henry, Rocky Carroll and David McCallum. The long-running series has also said goodbye to quite a few members since it’s inception including Michael Weatherly, who went on to star in CBS’s Bull as well as Cote de Pablo and Jennifer Esposito.

NCIS airs on Tuesdays at 8pm on CBS.
