Popular Canadian TV Host Chris Hyndman Found Dead

Canadian television host, Chris Hyndman, has been found dead at the age of 49 in a Toronto alleyway near his apartment multiple sources have confirmed.

Hyndman was a co-host on the popular design and lifestyle show Steven and Chris with his husband Steven Sabados and his death on Monday, August 3, was sudden and shocking after being found with no vital signs. Details concerning his death are not being disclosed however reports indicate there is no criminal investigations or suspicion of foul play.

The show released a statement confirming his death on their Facebook page reading, “It is with profound sadness that we share the news Christopher Hyndman died early this morning. We extend our deepest sympathies to Steven, family, friends and colleagues; our thoughts are with them all.”

Fellow personalities within the same realm of lifestyle and design have offered their condolences and shared their memories of Chris including the very popular Property Brothers, Jonathan and Drew Scott who both took to social media with Jonathan writing, “I’m heartbroken to hear that Chris Hyndman has died. Just a joy to be around & such a kind soul. You will be missed. Rest in peace my friend.”

Together Steven and Chris founded their design company, The Sabados Group, and starred in three HGTV series, Designer Guys, Design Rivals and So Chic with Steven and Chris before launching their popular daily show, Steven and Chris. CBC has postponed the show until they and Steven decide how they want to proceed.
