On the morning of March 6th, Prince Harry visited Wembley Stadium to attend a WE Day UK event where he gave a heartfelt speech hitting topics like climate change and mental health.
The event brought together an impressive list of A-list celebrities, inspiring speakers, and world leaders. During Harry’s speech, according to royal reporter Omid Scobie, he cited a quote from Martin Luther King Jr. and said, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” He explained that his wife, Meghan Markle, often reminds him of this quote and then asked her to join him on stage. “I’m now going to try and drag my wife on stage,” he said, helping Meghan up the stairs.
Meghan stepped out wearing a muted business casual look by opting for a pair of black pants, a black top, and a blue blazer. When Meghan joined him on stage Harry gave even further words of encouragement and wisdom to the audience saying, “Guys, I am with you and we are with you.” he said, with his arm around Meghan. “Get to work.”
