Robert Downey Jr. Welcomes Baby Girl

The Iron Man star, 49, and his wife Susan, 40, have welcomed their first baby girl, whose name has not yet been revealed.
The little tyke joines the couple’s first child, big brother Exton Elias Downey, who was born in 2012. Robert also has a 21 year-old son, Indio Downey, his ex-wife Deborah Falconer.
“I don’t know if it’s a ‘man’s world,’ but I’m certain women run it,” Robert said in a Facebook page when he and his wife were expecting. “Susan and I are therefore delighted to announce we are expecting a baby. Girl.”
A few weeks later, Robert also talked parenting to E! News. “I’ve never had a daughter before, so I don’t know what really prepares a dad. I’m asking around,” he said. “But I did my part and now I’m just going to show up and do what I’m told.”
Susan and Robert are known for their close working relationship, as Susan works as the actor’s producing partner. “Our feeling was, if we wanted to spend time together, have a life together, then we should just go ahead and make movies together,” Susan explained in a lengthy profile in The Hollywood Reporter this year.
