Ryan Reynolds Talks Baby Names

Father-to-be Ryan Reynolds, 37, was in Toronto, Canada this past weekend to receive his star at Canada’s Walk of Fame.

Reynolds who was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia made the trip to receive the honor along with famous actress Rachel McAdams who is from St.Thomas, Ontario.

The Canadian entertainment show ETalk used the actor’s visit to his home country as an opportunity for an interview in which Reynolds discussed the announcement of his first child with wife Blake Lively.

Always the funny guy, when asked about baby names he responded, “On the plane over here I was trying to think of baby names. I don’t want a name that’s anything pretentious or, like, Hollywood-y. So I’m going with Excalibur Anaconda Reynolds…that’s if it’s a girl.”

While that elaborate name is one option, he also had an idea in case it is a boy, “Bruce Jenner,” he joked.

These names probably won’t be agreed to by Blake, 27, but at least he’s starting to think about it.

Meanwhile, after making the official announcement that they are expecting, the glowing Blake has been attending events around NYC gushing about starting a family with her husband of two years.

No due date has been announced, however it is confirmed that she is already out of her first trimester.
