Sandra Bullock Named People’s ‘World’s Most Beautiful Woman’

Sandra Bullock has earned a lot of achievements in her career at the top of Hollywood’s A-List and now she has just been named PEOPLE’s 2015 World’s Most Beautiful Woman.

There is no doubt that she is definitely gorgeous but many may be surprised by the title, none more so than Bullock herself who says she laughed when she was told. “No, really. I just said, ‘That’s ridiculous.’ I’ve told no one.”

Well, the news is out now as she graces the cover of the magazine which is on newsstands this Friday and the big news was also announced on NBC’s Today show.

The 50-year old star also has her own definition of beauty, a lot of which came from being a  mom to her 5-year old son Louis Bullock. “Real beauty is quiet. Especially in this town, it’s just so hard not to say, ‘Oh, I need to look like that.’ No, be a good person, be a good mom, do a good job with the lunch, let someone cut in front of you who looks like they’re in a bigger hurry. The people I find most beautiful are the ones who aren’t trying.”

Of course she does look great which she credits to a healthy diet and working out with Body by Simone, “I love that it’s not big weights, you move the entire time, it’s a torture chamber of sorts. When I started, I could barely do 20 seconds, and I’m not kidding. I’m crying on the floor, and she’s like, ‘Are you a smoker?’ I was likle, ‘I hate you.'”

Along with Bullock, the issue features 192 other beautiful women including Laverne Cox, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, and Gigi Hadid just to name a few.
