Can’t get enough Deacon Sharpe on The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B)? Well, count yourselves blessed, because Sean Kanan just signed a two-year contract extension with the CBS soap!
In an interview with Daytime Confidential, Kanan covered a lot of subjects: his crossover episodes with The Young and the Restless’ Melody Thomas Scott, as well as the success of his TV series Cobra Kai and Studio City.
Then, at the end of the interview, Kanan dropped a little bombshell on the soap opera world: he’s just signed a new, two-year contract with B&B!

“I like to stay busy and do a lot of different things. I’m having a blast working on The Bold and the Beautiful,” Kanan said. “I just signed on for another two year contract.”
When Kanan returned to B&B last October, it was unclear how long the character would last in L.A. Few characters wanted anything to do with the broke ex-con, besides his loyal daughter Hope (played by Annika Noelle).
However, Deacon’s foolhardy attempts to straighten out his life endeared fans, as well as Brooke Logan. Nowadays, he’s stuck in a steamy but dangerous romance with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
“It’s just been a really wonderful, special time in my life right now,” Kanan added. “It’s a lot of abundance.”
Well put, Mr. Kanan, as “abundance” is precisely what B&B viewers will get of Mr. Sharpe for the foreseeable future!
