Serena Williams Just Wore Sneakers On The Met Gala Red Carpet

The first Monday of May always means one thing: the annual Met Gala!

The most elite stars of Hollywood have once again flocked to the epic Vogue red carpet to show off their extravagant ensembles. This year’s theme is Camp, meaning extravagant fashion, and many looks so far are ringing true to that theme. Serena Williams, in particular, just walked the red carpet in a gorgeous canary yellow gown designed by Atelier Versace. While the couture dress itself was obviously absolutely gorgeous, it was truly what hid beneath it that shocked everyone!

Rather than classic heels or pumps, Serena stepped out in neon tennis shoes which perfectly coordinated with the ensemble. Fans of Serena’s fashion might recall that this isn’t the first time she’s worn the bedazzled shoes! She actually first stepped out wearing them previously on her wedding day.
