Shannen Doherty Attends First Red Carpet Event Since Cancer Reveal

Actress Shannen Doherty stepped out for an appearance on the red carpet of the 2015 Baby2Baby gala in L.A. on Saturday, Nov. 14, marking her first red carpet event since revealing she had been diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year.
The former Charmed and Beverly Hills, 90210 actress looked great in a sleeveless, black Vera Wang gown, but kept it low key as she celebrated the night with some of Hollywood’s biggest stars including Gwen Stefani, Jessica Alba and Kourtney Kardashian.
The 44-year-old shared her own picture of herself making her entrance at the event, writing, “At the @baby2baby gala. Such a wonderful evening with inspiring women like @kerrywashington who gave one of the most inspiring speeches and the gorgeous, funny @jessicaalba check out #baby2baby an organization that helps supply necessities for children coming from low income families.”
While Doherty has not mentioned the status of her breast cancer since revealing the diagnosis, the information came out because she was suing her former business management firm because they did not secure her health insurance through the Screen Actors Guild, which meant she couldn’t go to the doctor. There is no update on her health or the lawsuit, but her husband, Kurt Iswarienko, is also suing the firm for mismanaging the couple’s assets.
