Shannen Doherty Shares Photo From First Day Of Radiation Treatment

Actress Shannen Doherty is continuing her battle with breast cancer and is keeping fans updated along the way.
The former Charmed star took to her Instagram on Monday, November 28 to share a photo from her very first day of radiation treatment.
“First day of radiation treatment. I look like I’m about to make a run for it which is accurate,” she began. “Radiation is frightening to me. Something about not being able to see the laser, see the treatment and having this machine moving around you just scares me. I’m sure I’ll get used to it but right now… I hate it. #radiation #radiationmondaysucks #stillfightinglikeagirl.”
After first being diagnosed last March, Doherty has just recently begun opening up about her battle and in an emotional interview last month the actress opened up about staying as positive as possible. “I think what’s beautiful and hard and interesting about cancer is that it tears you down and builds you, and tears you down and builds you. It remakes you so many different times. The person I thought I was supposed to be or was going to be or who I thought I was six months ago is now somebody completely different,” she stated.
The 45-year-old isn’t letting cancer get her down either as she recently revealed she is still working and shared a photo from the set of the TV remake of the cult classic ’80s film Heathers.
