Like father, like son?

American Idol judge Simon Cowell is known for being outspoken and brash on the show — and it seems that his young son may be following in his footsteps.

On a British Airways flight from London to the United States, Simon, 55, was traveling with his 13 month-old son, Eric, who was crying and being fussy.

The little tyke’s behavior upset another passenger so much that he asked to be moved away from the pair.

Simon told his 11.5 million Twitter followers about the incident, writing, “Eric travelled with us but one really really grumpy man complained. A Lot!”

“He asked to be moved. Complained to the staff,” Simon continued. “And there was a lot of sighing and tutting. The other passengers were amazing.”

Simon also gave a shout out to the “great” airline crew, who were patient with Simon and Eric. As many parents understand, kids can be quite difficult at that age — especially on a long flight.

Earlier this week, singer Ella Henderson revealed that Simon had been struggling with how to deal with Eric ever since he learned to walk.

“Simon was telling me how he can’t control him (Eric), apparently he’s walking and they’ve got baby gates everywhere,” she said.
