On Saturday, November 5, fans and friends of the late actor Anton Yelchin came together to celebrate a different aspect of the star.

Among those who traveled to the Other Gallery in Los Angeles to view the Anton Yelchin Photography Exhibit were Yelchin’s Star Trek co-stars Chris Pine and John Cho as well as director J.J. Abrams. The exhibit at the gallery included 40 images from Yelchin’s other passion — photography, and his work has been described as “experimental, provocative and surrealist,” and all of the proceeds from the exhibit are going to the Anton Yelchin Foundation which was set up after the actor’s death and is focused on empowering children and filmmaking students.

Other stars such as Dakota Fanning, Elle Fanning, Demi Moore, and Susan Sarandon were all spotted at the exhibit’s opening, which opens to the public on Monday, November 7 and will be shown through December 31.

Yelchin, who is best known for his roles in Star Trek and Terminator Salvation, passed away back in July at the age of 27 after his own car rolled and crushed him in his own driveway. His death helped sparked a $5 million lawsuit against Jeep for faulty shifting gears in some of their models.
