Taylor Lautner And Girlfriend Marie Agveropoulos Have Split

For all those die-hard Twilight fans who were on Team Edward and devastated by Robert Pattinson’s hot and heavy relationship with singer FKA Twigs maybe it’s time to switch to Team Jacob with reports that Taylor Lautner is back on the market.

It seems Lautner, 23, is now a single man after he and his Tracers co-star, Canadian actress Marie Avgeropoulos, 28, have apparently split after almost two years together with a source telling E! News “it was completely amicable.”

While Lautner has faded somewhat from the spotlight since the end of the Twilight franchise, he has been in the tabloids as rumors swirled about the young star possibly being gay after he was spotted hanging out in two West Hollywood popular gay hotspots, The Abbey and Mother Lode and was captioned in an Instagram picture with gay model Murray Swanby with the caption, “I’ve never been more #attracted to someone in my life.”

Aside from those rumors, Lautner has also been known to date his leading ladies including Lily Collins whom he met on the set of 2011’s Abduction and of course Taylor Swift when the pair also played an on-screen couple for 2010’s Valentine’s Day.

Although sources claim Lautner and Avgeropoulos broke up a few months ago, the pair were reportedly spotted out and about in Venice holding hands as recently as Tuesday night but friends say, “Taylor is dating and having fun. Nothing serious.”

Tracers is set for a U.S. release on March 20, 2015.
