Taylor Swift’s new hit song “Shake It Off” is all about not letting your haters bother you — but Taylor is having trouble taking her own advice.
In a new interview with Rolling Stone magazine, the 24 year-old pop star opened up about an ongoing feud she’s had with a fellow female pop star.
“She would come up to me at award shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, ‘Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'” Taylor explained.
She continued: “[Then last year] she did something so horrrible. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour.” Check out the video to hear more about why Taylor’s tour was almost ruined!
The interview has many speculating about who they think the pop star in question might be. The frontrunner seems to be Katy Perry, since Katy mysteriously tweeted a reference to the movie Mean Girls. “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing,” the 29 year-old wrote just this morning.
Taylor Swift has a hard time getting over criticism or anything she feels victimized by. She even took it personally when Tina Fey and Amy Poehler teased her at the Golden Globes.
Do you think Taylor is right or should she just shake it off?
