Taylor Swift’s Friend Abigail Gets Death Threats After Rant About Kanye West

As the debacle between Taylor Swift, Kanye West, and Kim Kardashian rages on, Swift’s best friend Abigail Anderson came to her friend’s defense.

Swift’s hometown friend Anderson took to Twitter on Monday, July 18, to rant about West and Kardashian’s treatment towards Swift. Earlier this week, the couple blasted Swift for lying about the rapper’s track, “Famous.”

In tweets that have since been removed, Anderson wrote, “Lord, hear my prayers. … I pray God helps your daughter understand, that despite how many times she’ll hear daddy reference all women as ‘b-tches,’ she isn’t one.” She continued, “I pray she understands her father actually IS faithful to her mother, despite all the adulterous comments she will hear her father making. … I pray that she will understand ‘adultery and b-tches’ are just daddy’s form of art and not to worry because not every man thinks like him. … Lastly, I pray for forgiveness. May God forgive you & your wife for doing to others the very things you pray are NEVER done to your daughter.”

Anderson concluded her rant by saying that she’ll “always stand by my best friend.” After receiving death threats from supporters of West and Kardashian, Anderson deleted her public rant. She later posted, “For the record, I usually delete my tweets once the death threats start rolling in … nothing more or less than that. #MovingOn.”

Anderson’s rant is in response to Kanye’s claim that Swift had given him permission to reference her in his song “Famous”:  “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / I made that b-tch famous.” In contrast, Swift argues that Kanye never shared the song with her so she was unaware that he planned to make a reference to her as “that b-tch.” Swift wrote on Instagram, “Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me ‘that b-tch’ in his song? It doesn’t exist because it never happened. You don’t get to control someone’s emotional response to being called ‘that b-tch’ in front of the entire world.”
