Teen Mom 2’s Javi Marroquin And Briana DeJesus Split

A short-lived romance! Only a few months after confirming they were in fact dating, Teen Mom 2 co-stars Javi Marroquin and Briana DeJesus have split.

After several rumors about the status of their relationship including many reports that Javi was clashing with Briana’s mom and sister, DeJesus confirmed their split on Instagram, captioning a photo of the two “We have broken up” and then directing fans to a link to an interview she did.

In the interview with Blasting News, the mom of two explained, “Javi and I are not together anymore. Our future just doesn’t line up. He doesn’t want me to get my surgery for a breast lift, lipo, and tummy tuck (which I’m doing in two weeks) because it’ll look bad on his name at work. Also, I don’t plan on moving in with him in the summer and for these reasons, he broke up with me.”

She also shared, “I have no bad things to say to about him. He wanted a wife and home right now and I didn’t see a reason to rush. I wish him the best going forward, and I am sad things panned out this way, but this is where things currently stand. Again, we are no longer together.”

Back in October 2017, Javi who was previously married to Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry, with whom he shares son Lincoln Marshall, confirmed he was dating Briana, who was brought on as a fifth star of Teen Mom 2, after previously starring on the failed spin-off season Teen Mom 3.

The two then shared many sweet photos together on their Instagram pages, but they have all now been deleted.

As for Kailyn, who engaged in some Twitter feuds with her ex and his new girlfriend, she had little to say about their split, simply stating, “It’s none of my business, so my mouth is closed. I wish Javi the best, as always.”
