Earlier in the week both Catelynn and Tyler took to their Instagram accounts to share teases of the professional family photos they had done to introduce their new daughter to the world, but Vaeda was mostly cropped out of them. “So excited to finally share the FIRST PHOTOS of Vaeda Luma! & thank you to everyone who has supported our family from the beginning. It’s an honor to share these photos with you! CLICK THE #LinkInBio,” they wrote alongside the post.
Fans made it clear they were not happy that they had to scroll through numerous slides from The Hollywood Gossip, and Tyler even responded to one fan who wrote, “Ridiculous that they block her face to make a quick buck selling photos.”
“OH ABSOLUTELY & I have ZERO shame about it!,” he began his response. “The fact that all my children’s college tuitions are paid for & they have their trust funds that will create more opportunities as adults, that neither I or Cate could have ever dreamed of as kids, makes it all worth it! The only “clickbait” articles we ever share are for one reason…our children! Every cent earned goes to their accounts. We chose this life on TV, not the kids. So I want their innocence & lack of control in that decision to be rewarded or at least warranted. I am their father & my job is to provide for them & set them up for the best possible future I can. So if being “ridiculous” is what provides that for them, then so be it! I’ll be as ridiculous as I need to be and never feel any shame about it!” he concluded.
While they did indeed sell the first photos to The Hollywood Gossip, both Tyler and Catelynn ended up sharing full photos each on their personal Instagram accounts.
