The upcoming season of The Bachelorette may quite possibly be the most dramatic season yet with all the new twists getting revealed every week!

The latest Bachelor news is that host Chris Harrison will be missing a few episodes of the show, which will be his first time in 11 years. A source closed to Harrison revealed that he will be taking a two-week break from the show because he is dropping his son, Joshua, off to college in Texas.

Once Harrison returned to California, where The Bachelorette is currently filming, he was required to undergo a 14-day quarantine as part of the production’s safety precautions, which means he had to skip two weeks of his hosting duties for the show.

Not to worry though, Bachelor fans! Former Bachelorette Jojo Fletcher will be taking over Chris Harrison’s duties while he is in isolation.

This will be the first time that Harrison has missed an episode of The Bachelor, Bachelorette, Bachelor Pad, or Bachelor In Paradise since 2009 when he was not present for one rose ceremony during Jillian Harris’ season of The Bachelorette.

ABC has not yet announced a premiere date for the upcoming season of The Bachelorette.

Just like that he’s gone. Thought dropping the big man off at college @texaschristianuniversity today was going to crush me but all I could feel is pride and excitement. Especially now, so grateful that they have this opportunity. Now go take on the world and have the time of your life my boy.
