The Masked Singer revealed the celebrity behind Baby Alien this week for the Group B Playoffs!
Last week Group A took the stage and it was ultimately revealed that the celebrity behind Giraffe turned out to be Beverly Hills, 90210 alum Brian Austin Green.
This week, Group B performed which consisted of Serpent, Crocodile, Baby Alien, Whatchamacallit, and Seahorse. Before they took the stage, however, the group recalled memories from their younger years in the clue packages. After each masked celebrity performed, the childhood clue was brought out to the judges to provide additional insight into their identity.
After the masked celebrities took the stage and completed their performance, host Nick Cannon announced that it was ultimately Baby Alien’s performance that landed at the bottom of the leaderboard. The judges gave their best guesses as to who might be under the space-themed outfit including Eric Bana, Jason Biggs, Jeff Dunham, Nick Kroll, and Freddie Prinze Jr.
Unfortunately, the judges weren’t on the right track this week with the guesses and it was actually former NFL player Mark Sanchez behind the Baby Alien costume.
The retired quarterback opened up about his experience on the show and shared his favorite part of the journey. “Sharing this experience with my little man. He knows the words to ‘Faith’ now,” he said. “He knows the words to ‘It’s Time’ by Imagine Dragons, so we’ve been rocking out in the car. It’s been fun. It’s been really fun.”
