Group C made their debut this week on The Masked Singer and by the end of the night, the celebrity behind the “fabulous” lips was revealed.
Group C’s masked celebrities dressed as Squiggly Monster, Mushroom, Broccoli, Jellyfish, and Lips. The group took the stage for judges Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke to share their last round of first impression guesses.
Squiggly Monster kicked off the night with a soulful performance of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Have You Ever Seen the Rain.” Mushroom took the stage next with a new take on “This Woman’s Work” by Maxwell, which impressed the judges and Scherzinger even called it “the most transcending performance we’ve ever had on The Masked Singer.”
Broccoli performed next with a tribute to rock and roll legends Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jerry Lee Lewis. Lips gave the final performance of the night with a tribute to New York City with Odessey’s “Native New Yorker,” but unfortunately, this performance was also her last.
Jeong guessed Mariah Carey for his first impression guess, while Thicke guessed Sandra Bernhard. McCarthy guessed Wendy Williams and Scherzinger agreed.
When it was time for Lips to remove her mask, she revealed herself as Wendy Williams, just as McCarthy and Scherzinger had guessed.
When asked why she chose the Lips costume, the talk show host replied, “Well, first of all, they’re fabulous. I can’t sing, I can’t dance, but I know how to have fun.”
The Masked Singer airs Wednesdays (8 p.m. ET) on Fox.
