The Twins Who Played Emma On Friends Return To The Big Screen At 17
Published on January 11, 2019. Updated May 23, 2019Even the biggest Friends fans may not have known that it was actually twins Noelle and Cali Sheldon who played Ross and Rachel’s daughter Emma Geller-Green from 2003 to 2004, but now the twins are 16, soon to be 17 this year, and are headed to the big screen!
While it seems for the most part the two girls focused on a regular life instead of acting, Noelle and Cami have landed a role in the upcoming horror film, Us, directed by Jordan Peele starring Elisabeth Moss, Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke.
“The trailer for Us is out now! I put the link in my bio. So happy I got to be a part of this movie, it looks amazing and terrifying!” Noelle wrote on Instagram alongside the film’s trailer.
Cali also shared the news writing, “so excited!”
Us tells the story of a family who take a family trip to the beach and when they return home they find four masked strangers in their house.
The two have opened up about their time on the show, admitting that since they were babies, they really don’t remember being part of the iconic series. “I don’t remember anything about being on the show, but I’ve seen the pictures,” Cali said while Noelle commented that having Jennifer Aniston for a TV mom is pretty amazing. She’s so famous, and I’m just a regular person, so it’s really cool,” Noelle shared back in 2015.
Their mother, Gretchen Carpenter, does remember her daughters’ time on the show, and said the entire cast was great to work with. “Everyone was really, really nice to Noelle and Cali, and treated them like little princesses on the set. [Friends] filmed before a live audience, and Cali and Noelle would come out, and they would be waving and engaging with the live audience. It was a lot of fun.”
