Vin Diesel Welcomes Third Child With Girlfriend Paloma Jimenez

Vin Diesel has always been very private about his life as a partner to his longtime girlfriend Paloma Jimenez and a husband to their children daughter Hania Riley, 6, and son Vincent Sinclair, 4, so it was a surprise for everyone to learn back in February that he was going to be a dad once again.

Although he is private, he did share a sweet picture of his new baby along with lyrics from Louis Armstrong’s “Wonderful World” on his Facebook page on Monday, March 16 confirming the newest arrival to his family but did not reveal the baby’s name or gender.

News broke that the couple were pregnant again when Jimenez was already very close to the end of her pregnancy because it was reported that Diesel backed out of a huge Furious 7 première at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi on March 10 in order to stay at home with his expectant girlfriend.

“He wants to be with his family at the birth; it’s a beautiful thing. What human’ being wouldn’t?,” a source said of Diesel’s decision, while Universal Pictures was happy to move the premiere to L.A. for the film’s star.

In late 2014 Diesel opened up about being a father when talking about his late friend and co-star Paul Walker.

“He was a part of so much in my life… long personal talks with my mother or babysitting the Alpha Angel…he took a certain pride in being Uncle Pablo. After all, we were filming a scene in FF4 the same day [Hania] was born, and he being the only one I told, encouraged me to go in and cut the umbilical cord. He was an important part of my transition into fatherhood.”
