Whitney Houston’s Daughter Placed In Medically-Induced Coma

Some tragic news out of Hollywood today. Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown has been placed in a medically-induced coma after she was found in her bathtub unconscious by her husband and a friend.

According to reports from TMZ, Bobbi’s husband, Nick Gordon, performed CPR until paramedics arrived. The paramedics continued to perform life-saving measures and took her to the hospital immediately.

Earlier reports stated that Bobbi was “stabilized and breathing” but remained in ICU but new reports now reveal that the 21-year-old has been placed in a medically-induced coma due to swelling of the brain.

TMZ posted an update at 1:53pm PT that read “Sources close to the family tell TMZ Bobbi Kristina has been placed in a medically induced coma for swelling of the brain.”

Bobbi’s mom, Whitney Houston, was found unconscious in a bathtub at the Beverly Hills Hilton hotel on February 11, 2012. She was later pronounced death. The official cause of death drowning and the “effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use.”
