Miranda Kerr was one of the most well-known Victoria’s Secret angels — but flapped her wings and left the brand last year.

In a new interview in Harper’s Bazaar, the 31 year-old model explained her decision, which had to do with balancing work and family (she has a 3 year-old son, Flynn, with ex Orlando Bloom). Check out the video to see what she said!

Miranda says her adorable little one is “cheeky” and “charming,” and has an English accent. She also praises Orlando’s parenting, even though they’ve split. “He’s such a great dad,” she gushed. “I feel really lucky.”

Miranda is also ready to do new things because she’s been modeling for so long. “This is a natural evolution,” she said in another interview . “The thing is, I’ve been modeling since I was 13. I’m now entering a new phase in my life. I have felt this coming since my son was born and, after I became a mother, I realized I needed to prioritize my time.”

Sources have claimed that Victoria’s Secret wasn’t completely happy with Miranda, either, because she wasn’t a “big seller” and had reputation for being difficult.

Regardless, we’ll continue to see Miranda everywhere; she’s replaced Gisele Bundchen as the face of H&M, and she also recently appeared in campaigns for Reebok and Wonderbra.
