At long last, Elizabeth Webber’s parents are coming back to Port Charles! General Hospital (GH) has cast actors William Moses and Denise Crosby in the respective roles of Jeff and Carolyn Webber.
After months and months of Liz’s absentee parents being name-dropped on the ABC soap, Moses and Crosby will bring these characters to the canvas, according to Soap Opera Digest.
“Thrilled to be part of this epic show and reunite with old friends!” Crosby wrote on Twitter, tagging Finola Hughes, Genie Francis and Moses.

Moses has previously appeared in How To Get Away With Murder and Mystic Pizza, while Crosby has portrayed characters on Ray Donovan, Suits and Star Trek: The Next Generation. She even had a bit role on Days Of Our Lives back in 1980.
The role of Jeff Webber was previously portrayed by Richard Dean Anderson from 1976 until 1981, whereas Carolyn has never appeared on-screen.
Needless to say, Elizabeth’s world will be turned upside down by the long-awaited return of her dad, but it’ll be very interesting to see how GH approaches Webber’s relationship with her mother.
Perhaps this casting news will finally bring some momentum to Elizabeth’s backstory, which has been the victim of slow and uneven pacing. Viewers have even suggested that the soap is intentionally dragging out the storyline due to alleged tensions behind the scenes with star Rebecca Herbst.
