Willow And Jaden Smith Give Completely Awkward Interview

The siblings offered an interview recently, proving that they certainly don’t fit into the box labeled conventional. They are, to suggest it as a compliment, weird, meaning spiritual, or uncanny.

Will Smith and wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, are known to be two of the kindest individuals in Hollywood. They’re also quite private about their lives, and the accepted truths to industry insiders would make the layperson–or huge Fresh Prince fan–drop a jaw and furrow a brow.

It’s not at all surprising to the hear the words of Willow and Jaden from a recent interview, during which they both somewhat scoffed at the typical teenage experience. Some would say they sound like hippies, e.g. Willow, now 14, is reading books about quantum mechanics, and beyond that, can’t find any other books she likes, so she just writes her own. She also doesn’t believe in time, merely relativity, and feels that she can control time within her being. Undoubtedly, she really enjoyed Interstellar.

Jaden–who is 16, can you believe it–jumped into the mix stating, “Here’s the deal: School is not authentic, because it ends. It’s not true, it’s not real. Our learning will never end. The school that we go to every single morning, we will continue to go to.”

What the hell that means is anybody’s guess, but it certainly sounds like Scientology to me. Will and Jada have set aside suggestions that they’re part of the Church of Scientology, but everyone seems to be distancing themselves from “saying” it these days.

Still, it’s fantastic that some 14 and 16 year olds out there are able to really think outside the box. Great for Willow and Jaden that they can afford to do so.
