‘World Of Dance’ Finale Recap: Who Won The Million Dollar Prize?

Nine weeks have passed of devastating eliminations and breathtaking performances and this week finalists took the stage one last time to prove they are worthy of the million dollar prize. It was definitely a difficult decision for judges Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo and Derek Hough to select a winner because of the finalist’s diverse dancing styles.
From Eva Igo’s stunning contemporary routines, to Les Twins’ creative hip hop performances and Swing Latino’s energetic salsa routines, only one dancer could come out on top and Les Twins was announced the winner!
“The way you were moving, it was so powerful” Lopez gushed after Les Twins final dance. “You did it Les Twins.”
Although World of Dance has concluded for the summer, NBC has announced the show will be returning for a second season. They shared news back in June that the Jennifer Lopez founded series is the most-watched summer alternative debut on cable or broadcast in nine years.
“I am so proud to not only star, but produce a show that is so close to my heart,'” Lopez said at the time. “I am so happy that World of Dance has resonated with audiences and we are able to put dancers on the pedestal they deserve. I cannot wait to continue this journey and my partnership with NBC.”
