Has Kate Hudson ever taken a dip in the lady pond?

That’s the oh-so-elegant question that everyone’s talking about after the actress’ appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live.

Promoting her new film Wish I Was Here with co-star and writer/director Zach Braff, Kate (35) got personal when Andy Cohen asked her if she’d ever been with a woman.

She smiled mischeviously and took a while to answer the question, prompting fans to think that maybe there’s a juicy story there. Then she asked, “How deep is a dip?”

Andy explained that he considers a dip to be more than just making out.

Kate, who has been engaged to Matt Bellamy since 2011, also opened up about relationships in an interview for the May 2014 issue of Self magazine. “Relationships are the most challenging things,” she said. “It’s where you do the most work in your life. You come face-to-face with yourself, and if you can deal with realizing we’re all flawed, accept it and work with it, you might have a really amazing, lasting relationship.”

She also said this year that she plans to wed Matt “sooner rather than later,” but that she wants to “take the time to really plan it right.”
