10 Celebs Who Embrace Aging With Makeup Free Selfies

However, a few are fighting back, gracefully. Instead of battling age with constant surgeries and makeup, filters and more, these heroines are winning the war with age, by simply embracing it. Thank goodness because we are all exhausted and money poor trying to rid ourselves of crow’s feet and smile lines!
10. Cameron Diaz
Cameron recently debuted her new book, Longevity, as a follow up to her hit The Body Book. On The Body Book website, she talks about why she wrote the book: “What I found was aging isn’t about getting old it’s about LIVING.” The 43-year-old actress has been backing up her new release on aging by posting selfies of herself sans makeup. She looks stunning, and she’s helping women get excited about the idea of aging, instead of encouraging them to run for the hills which, by the way, doesn’t work!
9. Drew Barrymore
Maybe it’s that hippie goodness of Drew Barrymore that makes the 41-year-old actress and mother of two happily post so many makeup free selfies. Even though she has her own cosmetics line, Flower Beauty, she still embraces the natural state just as much. She has just as many photos posted of herself “as is” as she has of herself done up. Without trying, she’s helping be a refreshing light to those aging. Plus, remember that we’ve been watching Drew since her toddler days and aging cannot be easy when you have those constant comparisons to your youth, but Drew? She’s laughing.

Ok, so she’s a supermodel. However, her model days started nearly 20 years ago, and she’s managed to age gracefully before us and remain on top in the modeling world. The mother of two is now 35-years-old and is just as beautiful as ever, even without the makeup and photoshop. Both Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer have stated that Gisele is the only remaining “true supermodel.”

Sharon Stone is smashing beauty standards with her celebration of her aging. The former sex symbol of the early ‘90s has remained an edgy, stylish woman with class right into her 50s. Now, at age 58, she shocks us even more with her comfort in posting photos of herself in a bare state (just not “Basic Instincts” style of bare). Kudos, Sharon. You’re killing it.

Cindy Crawford turned fifty this year. FIFTY! Can you believe it? Somehow the model has managed to defy age, all while still looking classy, sexy and age-appropriate (if that’s even still a thing). She often lets her fans into her world, with selfies and candids that make you fall in love with her natural beauty. I mean, the woman made moles sexy and now she’s making fifty seem pretty darn sexy too.
5. Salma Hayek
Still fairly new to the social media game with her Instagram profile stating, “After hundreds of impostors, years of procrastination, and a self-imposed allergy to technology, FINALLY I’m here. ¡Hola! This is truly Salma.” So far she’s posted over 300 photos, including several make-up free ones. While she may have a team of experts helping her from time to time, as she turns 50 later this year, she’s looking almost exactly the same as she did 20 years ago! Now a mom of daughter Valentina, she also shares that her body has changed after pregnancy, but that her life is so much better. Love her attitude!

Sofia Vergara is often compared to a vampire because she looks nearly identical to her 18-year-old self. At 43, she continues to be a continues to be a bombshell and her success as an actress has yet to slow down. Not only has she defied age, she’s also raised a 23-year-old son and beat cancer. Now a newlywed to a younger man, actor Joe Manganiello, this Colombian beauty isn’t showing many obvious signs of age and she somehow looks even younger when you see her completely undone.
3. Heidi Klum
Another model and mother who shocks us continually with her incredible body and looks is forty-two-year-old Heidi Klum. While she attributes her anti-aging to staying out of the sun, she also embraces aging, saying in a 2010 interview with Self, “I don’t think of getting older as looking better or worse; it’s just different. You change, and that’s OK. Life is about change. I don’t have anxiety about it, so I’m not running to get Botox. Maybe that will change, but I don’t think so. I feel comfortable in my skin and comfortable with aging, so I think it’s OK that I get wrinkles.”

Forty-three-year-old Gwyneth Paltrow claims she feels more beautiful now than she did 20 years ago. She told PeopleStyle, “I wish more women had told me that at 40 you sort of stop worrying about what other people think about you, and you come into yourself in the most phenomenal way. I think the 40s are such a gift, and I feel more beautiful now than I did 10 years ago or 20 years ago.” Being comfortable in her own skin, and without makeup, has certainly shown us that beauty knows no age!

The model attributes a lot of her youthfulness to yoga and a balanced diet.
