10. Multilingual
She is a native Spanish speaker who speaks English and Portuguese, as well as some Italian, French, Catalan and Arabic.

The “Hips Don’t Lie” songstress is a social activist. She has founded two non-profit organizations, the Pies Descalzos Foundation and LAS Foundation, which are dedicated to providing education and nutrition to poor and impoverished children. She is also a UNICEF ambassador, as well as one of their global representatives and she is also a member of the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics.

Her charity Pies Descalzos Foundation has funded the opening of eight schools in total. The newest school in Cartagena will serve over 1,700 students on a daily basis, offering daycare options for children of preschool age, through a complete high school education.
