11 Female Celebrities Who Are Ruining Their Reputations

They rise and fall pretty quickly and it usually doesn’t take much of a scandal to ruin them; however, for men, it is a bit different. There are actors like Charlie Sheen who have done nothing but screw up for the past decade, but Hollywood never really turns its back on them. If he were a woman, it would be a very different story. We have a list of 11 female celebrities who seem to be ruining their reputations. They could turn it around, but it will take a lot of work!
11. Gwyneth Paltrow
It might be hard for some people to remember this but, at one point, Gwyneth Paltrow was one of Hollywood’s golden girls. The critics loved her and her performances; she had relationships with only the hottest of bachelors; and she seemed really grateful for everything she had; however, with time, she has become more and more unrelatable. With each pretentious public comment, we dislike her more. We don’t see her ever getting her pristine reputation back – it’s far too late.

Miley Cyrus loves attention and it’s her love of this that will be her undoing. From her incessant twerking at the 2013 Much Music Video Music Awards to the over-the-top sexuality that she displayed on her Bangerz tour, this young pop star can’t get enough attention. She wants everyone to know that she’s an adult now, so she feels the need to present herself like a stripper. There is only so much people can take of this behavior until they can’t take her seriously anymore. Unfortunately for Miley, she’s almost already there.

Kristen Stewart was already pretty overexposed thanks to her role in the “Twilight” movies, and her affair with Rupert Sanders only made things worse. She always seemed a bit put off by her success, giving the impression that she was bored and dissatisfied with Hollywood. Stewart did a smart thing by laying low for a good year after the affair went public; however, now that she is back in the spotlight, she still has that bad attitude everyone grew to hate. Something tells us Kristen Stewart’s reputation is beyond repair.

Katherine Heigl could have been the next rom-com queen; however, her diva-like behavior derailed her once promising career and ruined her reputation. According to her, she hasn’t been acting much for the last few years because she decided to take time away from Hollywood to “reevaluate her career goals.” Heigl has since gone back to television and currently has a starring role on “State of Affairs,” but rumor has it that she hasn’t given up her demanding ways and insiders are still talking about how insufferable she is to work with.

After her breath-taking performance in “Black Swan,” everyone was in love with Mila Kunis. We fell even more in love with her when we saw her in interviews. She was charming and down to earth – the sort of gal that men and women would love to befriend. Sadly, when she hooked up with Ashton Kutcher, things started to change. She suddenly seemed more irritable with the media and gave some pretty rude interviews. Kunis has proved to be anything but the woman we hoped she would be, but hopefully she can still turn things around.

Tori Spelling is a master of self-promotion. When her husband Dean McDermott was caught cheating on her, she did what most women would consider unthinkable – she documented the aftermath on a reality TV series. One would think that one season of the show would be enough, but not for Tori – she has signed on for season two of “True Tori.” In one preview, she says that she might be pregnant, in an effort to draw us all in. Too bad no one is buying it this time.

Kim Kardashian is one of those celebrities that is just so vain and self-involved that it is truly remarkable – and not in a good way. Her biggest concern is with her appearance and looking like a MILF. In Hollywood, women are only attractive for so long, so one would think that she would be more interested in establishing herself as something other than an object. Kardashian’s total self-obsession should be her undoing. That and the fact that her 15 minutes have definitely expired.

Zoe Saldana tends to like attention – as long as it’s on her terms. When news outlets spilled the beans on her reported pregnancy after she showed up to the “Guardians of the Galaxy” premiere looking like she was with child, she blasted them for invading her privacy; however, only a few months later, on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” she let everyone know when she’s due; what she’s craving; and how she wants to be told she’s sexy now that she’s pregnant. Sorry, Zoe, but that seems a little hypocritical to us.

3. Lindsay Lohan
Lindsay Lohan has been given many chances, but she still can’t really get it together. This year alone, she’s had two big ones. First there was her docu-series with the Oprah Winfrey Network. Instead of proving how much she’s changed, she showed us how unreliable and untrustworthy she still is. Her involvement in the play “Speed the Plow” didn’t help to combat any of this. The night before press night, Lohan was spotted partying until at least 3 A.M. Some things never change.

LeAnn Rimes’ reputation was ruined a while ago. We blame her affair with Eddie Cibrian, her inability to stop talking about it and her need to fight with his ex – and anyone else who might question her decisions. If she were to dump Cibrian and go back to being a more low-key celebrity, we honestly think that she would have a better chance of becoming more likeable. As it is, Rimes is obsessed with her own image and proving everyone wrong about her relationship with Eddie.

For a while, it was impossible not to like Jennifer Lawrence. She presented herself as being unpretentious and down to earth. Since she started canoodling with Chris Martin though, something has changed. In her interviews, she sounds more vapid than levelheaded. She still hasn’t moved beyond talking about her love of Doritos, her leaked pics and her dislike of diets. Oh, and did we mention that her infatuation with Woody Allen is just a bit disturbing. Sorry, Jen, you may have been really likeable before, but that likability is quickly fading.
