Not all celebrities are quick to give something back to their fans though so, on the rare occasions when celebrities do show their fans some appreciation, it goes a long a way. 16. George Clooney
George Clooney, while out for dinner with friends in Germany, paid $134.66 for another diner’s dinner, leaving the restaurant before he could even be thanked. We really need to find out where Clooney dines…

Former NFL star Chad Ochocinco Johnson treated 200 fans to dinner in Harlem. The football star used Twitter to get the word out. “Dinner in NY tonight –> 1st 200 people at Sylvia’s Restaurant by 7 pm in Harlem,” he tweeted in March 2012. “Leave ya money/credit cards at home. I got you this time.” Sounds like a sweet deal to us!

Charlie Sheen donated $100,000 to help a girl in Hermosa Beach, California, who has cancer pay her medical bills and he recently wrote a $12,000 check to the family of photographer Chris Guerra (who died while trying to snap pics of Justin Bieber) to assist with his funeral costs. The actor also gave Lindsay Lohan $100,000 to help with her tax debt. Evidently, Sheen just loves to give!

Christian Bale and Ben Affleck both used to Twitter to applaud “Batkid,” the five-year-old cancer patient who spent the entire day as Batman courtesy of The Make a Wish Foundation. “Batkid,” better known to friends and family as Miles Scott, has been battling lymphoblastic leukemia since he was 20 months old and his cancer is currently in remission.

Earlier this year, Branka Delic, a major Bon Jovi fan, started an online petition asking Bon Jovi to attend her wedding, as he was supposed to be in town that same weekend for his tour. Surprisingly, Bon Jovi showed up for her wedding and walked her down the aisle! How’s that for a dream come true?

Justin Bieber has met with Make-A-Wish recipients before almost every one of his concerts. In fact, Bieber let 8-year-old Annalysha Brown-Rafanan, who is suffering from a life threatening liver condition, interview him about his favorite songs and hobbies. Bieber even proposed to her with ring pop and kissed her on the cheek. Talk about making a girl’s day!

Singer Ed Sheeran played a private gig for Abigail Fleming before she lost her battle with cancer. Fleming had created a bucket list after learning that her cancer was terminal and one thing that she really wanted to see was Sheeran live. Sheeran made a special video message for Fleming and offered her a VIP trip to one of his concerts. Since she was too ill to attend, Sheeran then sang for her at her bedside at the Bluebell Hospice in Sheffield, England. Sheeran is the perfect gentleman!

Helen Mirren, who played the Queen on the big screen, is a true Queen of Hearts. She invited 10-year-old Oliver Burton, who was battling cancer in his spine, to see her play “The Audience.” She met him backstage after the play in character and also provided him with a limousine to and from the theatre.

Mila Kunis jetted down to Greenville, North Carolina, to accompany Sergeant Scott Moore after accepting a YouTube invitation to the Marine Corps Ball. In July, Moore posted a YouTube video while he was serving in Afghanistan asking Kunis to the Ball. The video ended up getting more than four million views and it got Moore the best date on the planet!

Johnny Depp likes to carry his Jack Sparrow costume from “Pirates of the Caribbean” around with him so that he can make unannounced visits to children’s hospitals at any given time. In 2010, a 9-year-old student in London invited Johnny Depp to her school and Depp came dressed up as Jack Sparrow. The Jack Sparrow costume definitely beats the Willy Wonka one. That costume is absolutely terrifying!

Lady Gaga paid for a fan with scoliosis and hip dysplasia to undergo surgery with a team of doctors who treated her for synovitis, a severe inflammation of the joints. This fan, Emma C, has needed a hip replacement for some time now. Gaga will be giving Emma her Louis Vuitton gold plated wheelchair as well. Who knew Gaga was so generous!

Rihanna surprised six-year-old Jasmina Anema, who is fighting leukaemia, by visiting her at the NYU Medical Centre where she is staying. Rihanna had seen a video made by Anema’s mother and friend to find her a bone-marrow donor. Rihanna then made her own video to help them with their efforts. Sadly, Jasmina passed away in January of 2010 but we’re sure Rihanna’s generosity and thoughtfulness will live in the hearts of her family forever.

The premiere episode of “Breaking Bad” Season 5 Part 2 was dedicated to Kevin Cordasco, a 16-year-old superfan who died of Cancer in March. Cordasco watched the series religiously and had even visited with members of the show’s cast and crew on several occasions. Creator Vince Gilligan had even offered to tell Cordasco how the show ended by sending him the final script, but Cordasco declined.

Christian Bale flew Jayden Barber and his family to Disneyland. Barber was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome and Ewing’s sarcoma – a rare bone cancer that affects children and young adults. Bale got in costume for Barber, as the Caped Crusader is the boy’s favorite superhero. Who knew that Bale was so awesome to his fans!

When it comes to saving the day, Tom Cruise is already doing it. One morning when he was on his yacht, he saw a sailboat in flames, so he sailed towards it and pulled the victims to safety. On a separate occasion, after witnessing a hit and run, Cruise called paramedics, stayed with the victim, followed her to the emergency room and then paid her $7,000 bill after realizing she was not insured.

When it comes to helping homeless people, Russell Brand is all over it. When a car hit a homeless man’s cart, Brand stopped his car and helped the man collect his stuff. Brand has also been spotted on the streets of LA spending time with homeless people, taking them out to breakfast, providing them with clothing and even giving them rides to AA meetings.
