7 Times Kaley Cuoco Had Us Scratching Our Head
Published on November 25, 2015. Updated April 3, 2017Kaley Cuoco wasn’t even on our radar until two and a half years ago when she briefly dated Henry Cavill and since then she’s found herself in the middle of a lot of drama. One of the reasons for this is she tends to say and do things that don’t always make a lot of sense, which usually leaves us scratching our heads. Here are 7 examples:
7. Her Comments on Her Boob Job
Kaley once said that getting breast implants when she was 18 was “the best decision [she] ever made.” In an interview with Redbook magazine, she expanded on this: “I had no boobs! The surgery] really was the best thing ever! I always felt ill-proportioned. My implants made me feel more confident in my body. It wasn’t about trying to be a porn star or wanting to look hot and sexy.” We get where she’s going with this, but calling the procedure the best decision that’s she ever made is a bit extreme.

When it comes to her hair, Kaley’s made some questionable choices. She’s rocked a pompadour on the red carpet, as well as some pretty tragic bangs, but one of her worst hairstyles ever was the pixie. She just doesn’t have the face or the frame for it. She looks infinitely better with long hair and no bangs.

If there’s one thing Kaley doesn’t get it’s fashion. She’s rarely seen on red carpet in something flattering. Many of her red carpet choices either look awkward or totally uninspired. She makes a lot of money – she could easily afford a better stylist.

When Kaley immediately jumped into a relationship with Ryan Sweeting after her fling with Henry Cavill, many were surprised. When they came engaged after only a few months of dating, many of us were scratching our heads. Less than three months after that, they were married and that’s when we knew that Kaley wasn’t thinking clearly. She literally jumped into marriage with the first guy who asked.

Kaley told Cosmopolitan magazine that she’s “obsessed” with reading about herself on social media: “I started reading [the social media comments] and thought, Maybe I need to make more of an effort and not go out in my UGGs and be disgusting. So I started putting on makeup. And they started writing, ‘Wow, someone really likes being in front of the camera’ and ‘Her hair’s done now for coffee.’ I couldn’t do anything right. Why am I reading this stuff? But I’m obsessed.” Sigh. She’s a little too invested in what other people – people who she has never met – think.

In interview with Redbook magazine, Kaley made some puzzling comments about feminism. “It’s not really something I think about. Things are different now, and I know a lot of the work that paved the way for women happened before I was around… I was never that feminist girl demanding equality, but maybe that’s because I’ve never really faced inequality. I cook for Ryan five nights a week: It makes me feel like a housewife; I love that. I know it sounds old-fashioned, but I like the idea of women taking care of their men. I’m so in control of my work that I like coming home and serving him. My mom was like that, so I think it kind of rubbed off.” It sounds like Kaley would benefit from sitting down with Emma Watson and having a serious discussion about what feminism really is.

When Kaley decided to get her wedding date tattooed on the back of her beck, many believed that she would live to regret her decision. Sure enough, she did! Today she posted a picture on her Instagram that showed her getting a new tattoo to cover up her wedding date to Ryan Sweeting. Unfortunately, the new tattoo – a giant moth – isn’t at all attractive. What on earth was she thinking?
