Bold And The Beautiful (B&B) weddings have always had their share of drama and a Hope and Liam wedding is no exception. Will someone interrupt the marriage ceremony again this week or will the wedding guests forever hold their peace? Also on this week’s B&B, Katie will continue pressuring Bill to help her take care of their son, but will he comply? Learn more below in the B&B spoilers for the week of August 20, 2018.

9. Father Does Not Know Best

It’s looking like Bill’s fatherhood issues, when it comes to his youngest son Will, are going to continue this week. He’ll need to decide whether to miss a vital meeting, or pick his son up, as Katie has asked him to do. After Katie’s heartfelt plea to him last week, will Bill finally step it up and become involved in his son’s life again? Regrettably, it’s looking like he won’t.

8. Stepfather Dearest

Thorne tells Katie that if Bill continues to shirk his duties as a father, he would be more than willing to step in and fulfill them. Bill is not pleased that Katie is dating Thorne to begin with, so when he finds out about this, it should anger him even further. Then again, when has Bill ever accepted any man his ex-wife decides to date? Rumor has it Thorne will also encourage Katie to legally cut Bill out of Will’s life.

7. Katie Considers Full Custody

Although she knows Bill loves their son, his lack of involvement lately has Katie reflecting on Thorne’s advice and thinking about seeking full custody of Will. Even though the boy has fallen victim to Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome and Bill says he no longer even recognizes Will, he’s still his son and Katie feels Bill is not making enough an effort to get to reacquainted with him.

6. Those Old Familiar Faces

Ashley Jones and Jennifer Gareis return in the roles of Dr. Bridget Forrester and Donna Logan this week. The pair will be back in town to support their niece, Hope, as she marries the love of her life, Liam Spencer. Lawrence Saint-Victor also returns as Carter Walton to officiate the wedding ceremony.

5. Family Unity

Hope and Steffy have been acting magnanimous toward each other of late. Steffy took herself out of the Liam tug-of-war the two have been playing for years and Hope visited Steffy to personally invite her to her wedding to Liam. They’re hoping this wedding will finally end all the animosity they’ve felt toward each other. Hope is assuming Steffy won’t cause trouble at the wedding but will she have a change of heart as she watches Hope and Liam say their vows to one another? While both Steffy and Hope seem to be displaying a sense of maturity and calm these days, the same can’t be said for their mothers.

4. Brooke And Taylor Face Off

Steffy’s date for Liam and Hope’s wedding will be none other than her mom, Taylor. Not one to ever sit quietly in the shadows, Taylor will wear black to the nuptials and make it abundantly clear to everyone who she thinks Liam should be marrying (hint, it’s not Hope). She will also make a private appeal to Liam to call off the wedding. Brooke, who has basically been planning this wedding since her daughter Hope came back to town in January, doesn’t take it very well. It’s rumored Taylor will announce that it’s time to cut the cake, dig her hand into the icing, grab a chunk of it and fling it at Brooke. Will this lead to a knockdown, drag-out fight, similar to the Brooke-Taylor brawls (in a pond, in the mud) we’ve seen in years past? All signs point to yes!

3. Wedding Interruptus

Ridge hasn’t been quite as overt with his opinion on the upcoming nuptials as Taylor (mainly because he’s married to Hope’s mother), but Steffy’s dad is another wedding guest who isn’t exactly thrilled about the match. It’s clear he’s still miffed about Liam marrying Hope and not his daughter, but it doesn’t look like he will he be displeased enough to actually interrupt the wedding. There will still be plenty of unhappy guests in attendance though, who may try to break up this wedding.

2. Hope And Liam’s Wedding, Take Two

We all know what happened just weeks ago when Carter asked the troublesome question “speak now or forever hold your peace.” Last time around, Wyatt disrupted the wedding with news that led Hope to call the whole thing off. Will he stand up and interrupt again? Spoilers indicate that despite the drama that will take place among the wedding guests, Hope and Liam will at long last tie the knot. Could this finally be the happy ending Lope fans have been anticipating since Hope’s return to LA?

1. Storm Clouds Ahead For The Happy Couple

Once Hope and Liam have finally made it official, it appears Liam is planning a romantic honeymoon for his new bride at Brooke’s cabin. Although it looks like the newlyweds will have some weeks of happiness together, spoilers are saying this marriage will not be smooth sailing. There is still a chance Hope could lose the child she is carrying, which could make Liam wonder if maybe he should be sharing a life with Steffy and their daughter Kelly instead. There are also rumors that Taylor will not stop meddling once Hope and Liam are married and will try to break them up. And although Steffy has stepped aside, if trouble in paradise does start to occur, B&B could be heading toward another Liam-Steffy-Hope Triangle of Doom.
