Cast of “Mean Girls:” Where Are They Now?

Updated April 5, 20172014 marks the 10-year anniversary for the hit film “Mean Girls.” Lindsay Lohan recently hinted on “The Tonight Show” that a reunion might be in the works, much to the excitement of fans everywhere. Even if there isn’t a reunion, we can still find out what the cast has been up to! Enjoy!
8. Lindsay Lohan
Lindsay Lohan has suffered numerous career setbacks since she starred as Cady Heron on “Mean Girls.” She has had numerous DUIs, a theft charge and more visits to rehab than we can count, but she seems to be back on track. Right now she is starring in a docu-series titled “Lindsay” that is about her life post-rehab. Oprah is producing the series on her network.

Daniel Franzese – who played Cady’s gay friend Damian– has been involved in a number of television shows in recent years. He had roles in “Foodies,” “Electric City” and “Dating in LA and Other Urban Myths.” Last month, he was spotting hanging out with his old costar from “Mean Girls,” Lindsay Lohan.

Jonathan Bennett played Aaron Samuels, Lindsay Lohan’s love interest in “Mean Girls.” He is currently a host on “MTV’s Copy Cat” and he has roles in “Authors Anonymous,” “Mining Ruby,” “Sweet Surrender,” “Deadly Retreat” and “Submerged.” He is also an instructor at Flywheel Sports where he teaches group cycling classes.

Lizzy Caplan – who played Janis Ian in “Mean Girls” – has had roles in “Cloverfield,” “Hot Tub Time Machine” and “Bachelorette.” She has also had a number of television in roles in shows like “Related,” “The Class,” “True Blood” and “Party Down.” Caplan currently has a role on the critically acclaimed show “Masters of Sex.”

Tina has been quite successful since she co-starred in and created the screenplay for “Mean Girls.” After leaving “Saturday Night Live” in 2006, she created the television series “30 Rock,” which earned her two Golden Globe Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards. She also co-hosted the Golden Globe Awards in 2013 and 2014 alongside Amy Poehler.

Lacey Chabert, who played Gretchen Wieners in the film, has become a prolific voice actress who has lent her voice to characters in “The Wild Thornberrys” and “Transformers Rescue Bots.” This year, she will star in “Color of Rain,” “Christian Mingle,” “The Lost Tree” and “Living the Dream.” Chabert married her longtime boyfriend over the Christmas holidays.

Amanda Seyfried’s career has taken off in the last few years. She has had roles in Oscar-nominated films like “Mamma Mia” and “Les Misérables” and for the next couple of years her schedule is packed. She has roles in “A Million Ways to Die in the West” and, next year, she has roles in “While We’re Young,” “Three Little Words,” “He’s F***ing Perfect,” “Fathers and Daughters” and “Ted 2.”

Rachel McAdams, perhaps the most successful member of the “Mean Girls” cast, has starred in several movies since wrapping up filming for the flick. In 2004 (the same year “Mean Girls” was released) she hit it big with her role as Allie Calhoun in “The Notebook,” followed by a lead role in the critically acclaimed comedy “Wedding Crashers.” In 2009 she starred opposite Robert Downey Jr. in “Sherlock” and in 2012 she teamed up with Channing Tatum in “The Vow.” Rachel has a couple of movies coming out in 2014 – “Everything Will be Fine” and an untitled Cameron Crowe project. In 2015, she has roles in “The Little Prince” and “Passengers.” Other than that, she continues to live a fairly low key life while fans yearn for her to get back together with former boyfriend, Ryan Gosling.
