Cast Of Once Upon A Time: How Much Are They Worth?

Published on February 23, 2016.

Once Upon a Time has just begun the second part of season 5 and celebrated a big milestone of their 100th episode! The show is incredibly unique as it intertwines the modern day world with the magical legends of our favorite childhood fairy tales. As with each great show, its success has a lot to do with the incredible cast! For some of the stars on Once Upon a Time, these roles have been huge advancements for their career and it’s interesting to see how far they have come since the show began. With so many guest appearances and reoccurring roles, we’ve narrowed this list down to the most important regular cast members to see how much each one is worth now:

9. Meghan Ory

Estimated Net Worth: $2 million. This Canadian actress began her professional acting career on the Fox channel doing small appearances in television movies and series. She landed her first regular role in 2000 on the family series Higher Ground, which lead to another regular role on Vampire High. She’s had some roles in small films, but her most notable has been in the feature film John Tucker Must Die. She got her next main role on South Beach, but it was soon cancelled. She’s had many guest appearances on series like Smallville, The CollectorFlash Gordon, and a even landed a main role on the show True Justice. However, she still remains most famous for her time as Ruby “Red Riding Hood” on Once Upon a Time. She’s since left the show to appear regularly on the series Intelligence, but that show also only lasted for one season. Her many small roles and few leading roles add up to an estimated net worth of $2 million.

8. Colin O’Donoghue

Estimated Net Worth: $2 million. This Irish native actor hasn’t had a very lucrative television or film career, but rather focused on theater productions, mainly in Ireland. Colin O’Donoghue is best known for his role as Captain Killian “Hook” Jones on Once Upon a Time, as well as his role in The Rite as Michael Kovak. But he’s also been in the film Storage 24 and will be starring in two post-production films, The Dust Storm and Carrie Pilby. His role as Captain Hook has been his biggest money maker, but he also had a reoccurring role on the series The Clinic and appeared in the popular Showtime historical-fiction series The Tudors (among a few other small series). Last year, Colin appeared in a music video for the Christina Perri song, “The Words,” which was dedicated to his Captain Hook character. Colin’s American career is only just beginning, so we expect so see much more from him, but for now he’s sitting on an impressive estimated net worth of $2 million.

7. Emilie de Ravin

Estimated Net Worth: $12 million. Emilie de Ravin is a well recognized Australian actress, who’s had an extremely successful career in the U.S. — not only for her time as Belle on Once Upon a Time, but she’s also had major roles as Tess Harding on Roswell and Claire Littleton on Lost. She’s also dabbled in the film industry with notable roles in movies like Brick, The Hills Have Eyes, Public Enemies, Remember Me, The Chameleon, Love and Other Troubles and most recently, The Submarine Kid. She hasn’t had any other major leading roles, but she’s made appearances on shows like NCIS, The Handler, CSI: Miami, and the miniseries Air Force One is Down. No doubt, Emilie’s high net worth of $12 million can largely be credited to her time on Lost and Once Upon a Time.

6. Robert Carlyle

Estimated Net Worth: $10 million. This Scottish actor has been around for quite some time! His first acting credits go back to the 90s when he was in films like Silent ScreamTrainspotting, Carla’s Song and The Full Monty. For the entire ’90s he appeared in a film each year (with many award nominations under his belt), and continued to do so until the 2009. Some of his later film credits were: The Beach, 28 Weeks, Eragon, Angela’s Ashes and Summer. He’s also been extremely active on the small screen with even more nominations. Many of his television credits are guest appearances in shows like The Unloved, 24: Redemption, The Last Enemy, Human Trafficking, Hitler: The Rise of Evil, Looking After Jo Jo and Cracker. He’s also lent his voice to various video games like the Castlevania series. Robert Carlyle’s only had three major leading roles in Hamish Macbeth, Stargate Universe and as the fan favorite Rumplestiltskin or “Mr. Gold” on Once Upon a Time. His long and illustrious career has earned him an estimated net worth of $10 million.

5. Jared S. Gilmore

Estimated Net Worth: Under Review. For a child actor, Jared S. Gilmore has some big credits attached to his name! He’s best known for his role in Mad Men as Bobby Draper and, of course, Henry Mills in Once Upon a Time. He hasn’t done any films yet, but he’s had lots of guest appearances on series like Without a Trace, Eleventh Hour, Rommates, Hawthrone, Wilfred, and Men of Certain Age. Jared is only 15-years-old with no recorded net worth and he hasn’t had too many jobs, but we are guessing it would be somewhere around $300,000. We are excited to see where his acting career will lead, so far it’s not too bad for a kid!

4. Lana Parrilla

Estimated Net Worth: $3 million. Lana Parrilla has quite the impressive resume of acting credits; however, her biggest role remains to be as Regina Mills, “The Evil Queen” on the hit series Once Upon a Time. When Lana first started out, she did some minor film roles like Very Mean Men, Spiders, Frozen Stars and One Last Ride; however, since appearing in these, she has put her focus on television. She’s had leading roles in shows like Spin City, Boomtown, 24, Windfall, Swingtown, and Miami Medical, but most of these series were short lived. She’s also had many guest appearances on shows like The Shield, NYPD Blue, Six Feet Under, Lost, Covert Affairs, Medium, and Chase. Since landing her most critically acclaimed role on Once Upon a Time in 2011, Lana Parrilla has been fully dedicated to the series and it seems to be largest contributor to her overall net worth of $3 million.

3. Jennifer Morrison

Estimated Net Worth: $6 million. This American actress started out as a child model appearing in advertisements, commercials, and even on the cover of Sports Illustrated for Kids! Jennifer got her first film role when she was 15-years-old, alongside Sharon Stone and Richard Gere in Intersection. After that she appeared in Stir of Echos, and starred in Urban Legends: Final Cut. She’s had job after job, with a huge credit list of movie roles including Grind, Surviving Christmas, Mr & Mrs Smith, and Star Trek — just to name a few major ones. In addition to landing a leading role on Once Upon a Time, she first starred in House and had a reoccurring role on How I Met Your Mother. She’s done guest appearances on Dawson’s Creek, Chase, Five, and The Chronicle. Jennifer Morrison is a busy woman! In 2006 she made her debut as a producer in the independent film Flourish, which she also starred in. This is one impressive resume, and it’s surprising her net worth isn’t higher, but she’s still high up there with a total of $6 million.

2. Josh Dallas

Estimated Net Worth: $3 million. Josh got his first on-screen acting role on television for the series, Ultimate Force in 2006, but his career changing role wasn’t until 2011 as Fandral in the film Thor. He’s also had roles in films like The Boxer, The Descent: Part 2, Ghost Machine and Red Tails. It was in 2011 that he was also offered his leading role as Charming in Once Upon a Time — before that he hadn’t done much on the small screen. He’d never had a leading role before, but rather guest appearances in shows like Doctor Who, Money, Hawaii Five-O, CSI, and Trigger Point. He’s also done two television movies, The Last Days of Lehman Brothers and Five. It’s pretty clear his net worth is largely due to his leading role on Once Upon a Time and the feature film Thor, but it’s also important to note that Josh Dallas is married to his on-screen wife, Ginnifer Goodwin (the two are expecting their second child together) so with a combined net worth the two might be worth more than what they are listed as. Today, he’s currently worth an estimated $3 million.

1. Ginnifer Goodwin

Estimated Net Worth: $5 million. Ginnifer’s career started off big right out of the gate with a guest-starring role on the longtime popular series Law and Order. Soon after she got a reoccurring role on Ed and made her film debut with a role in Mona Lisa Smile. She continued her film career regularly appearing in feature films like Win a Date with Tad Hamilton, Walk the Line, Something Borrowed, In the Land of WomenHe’s Just Not That Into You and voice roles in two post-production films, Zootopia and Tinker Bell. In 2006 she was cast in a leading role for the popular HBO series, Big Love and in 2012 was given a reoccurring role in Electric City. Ginnifer has also done television movies like Porn ‘n Chicken, Five and portrayed Jacqueline Kennedy in Killing Kennedy. Her bigger credits are definitely in film, but her longest role remains as “Snow White” on Once Upon a Time. Ginnifer Goodwin has enjoyed an immensely successful career and it’s all paid off because she now has an estimated net worth of $5 million.
