Giuliana And Bill Rancic’s Surrogate Miscarries

U.S. TV star GIULIANA RANCIC has been left devastated after a surrogate mother carrying her child suffered a miscarriage.

The E! News host and her husband Bill turned to a woman named Delphine, who carried their son Edward Duke in 2012, to have a second child, but it has now emerged she lost the baby at nine weeks.

Bill Rancic, who appears on a reality TV show with his wife, tells People.com, “This whole season (of reality show) Giuliana and Bill we’ve been trying to have another baby. “Unfortunately our surrogate Delphine, who we love very much, had a miscarriage. It’s something that we didn’t see coming. We were devastated.

“She was about nine weeks pregnant. We were pretty close to getting into the safe zone.

“We experienced a miscarriage years ago when we were trying with Giuliana, so we had been keeping the pregnancy news tight to the vest.”

The couple turned to surrogacy after struggling to conceive naturally.
