There is a considerable amount of pressure in Hollywood for women to look young and so many celebrities succumb to this pressure by getting plastic surgery, fillers and Botox to make themselves look younger. Fortunately, there are still some celebrities out there who refuse to succumb to the pressure. Here is our list of 10 celebrities who say no to Botox and yes to aging gracefully!

10. Julianne Moore

Julianne Moore has managed to age gracefully without the help of Botox and plastic surgery. “I don’t want to come out condemning anything anybody does, because I think that all of these things can contribute to making people feel better about themselves, and that’s great. But I also want to look like myself. I mean, we’re not going to live forever,” the Oscar-nominated actress said.

9. Sarah Jessica Parker

Sarah Jessica Parker – who played Carrie Bradshaw on “Sex and the City – is against Botox and plastic surgery – and aging isn’t something she loses sleep over. “There are women who feel that Botox is necessary, but more and more I don’t think it is important for the industry,” the Golden Globe-winning actress said.

8. Julia Roberts

Julia Roberts refuses to get Botox. She believes that faces are meant to tell stories and she wants to embrace her natural appearance for her children. “I have three children who should know what emotion I’m feeling at the exact moment I’m feeling it,” the Oscar-winning actress told Access Hollywood.

7. Vanessa Paradis

Vanessa Paradis is exquisitely beautiful and it is all natural! The singer-turned-actress hasn’t had any plastic surgery or Botox and doesn’t feel the need, which she attributes to culture. “I don’t work in America, so I don’t feel the pressure.” Sounds like the French might be a lot more relaxed about aging!

Cate Blanchett is an incredible actress and, when it comes to plastic surgery and Botox, her opinions are refreshing. “I’d just be too frightened about what it means long term. In the end if you have all that stuff done…in the end you just see the work. It doesn’t fill me with admiration, it fills me with pity,” the Oscar-winning actress said.

Rachel Weisz has been vehemently against Botox, going so far as to claim that doctors should not be allowed to use it. “Botox should be banned for actors, as steroids are for sportsmen. Acting is all about expression; why would you want to iron out a frown?” The Oscar-winning actress raises a very good point!

Christy Turlington – in spite of any issues that she has with aging – has resisted Botox and going under the knife. Although she has complained about how her neck looks, she won’t be doing anything about it. “I’d rather be the only one, the sole survivor. And in that case? I’ll just wear turtlenecks all year-round,” the model told Harper’s Bazaar.

Meryl Streep is one actress who isn’t interested in holding her 30s hostage. The Oscar-winning actress has never used Botox or any plastic surgery and prefers to age gracefully. “I think people look funny when they freeze their faces. In Los Angeles there’s a lot of that. I pick up on the part that doesn’t move on a face. I’m immediately drawn to it and that is the opposite of what you’re intending,” she said.

Jennifer Garner is considered one of Hollywood’s hottest actresses. The mother-of-three insists she won’t resort to botox to stay looking young. “I have a big forehead, and I don’t want it to be like this slab, a big glacier,” she told Allure in the the September 2013 issue. She’s also stated that she wants to set a good example for her  children.

Emma Thompson is adamantly against cosmetic surgery and Botox and is confident that no amount of pressure will force her to go under the knife. “Look at me, I’m normal. I really wouldn’t do anything. It’s psychotic to have your body opened up and stuff put in and injecting yourself with poisons,” the Oscar-winning actress/screenwriter said. We couldn’t agree more!
