20. Cinderella & Lupita Nyong’o
Lupita Nyong’o without a doubt used Cinderella as her inspiration for her look at the 2014 Oscars. The powder blue dress popped fabulously against her skin tone and the soft updo with a dainty headband perfectly replicated Cinderella’s iconic look.

We can’t help but compare Olivia Palermo’s look for the 2014 British Fashion Awards to Snow White’s iconic yellow dress. Olivia’s satin skirt perfectly mimicked Snow White’s signature look and her black cap sleeve top acted as a modern alternative to Snow White’s navy puff sleeve bodice.

We can’t help but compare Taylor Swift’s 2014 AMA look to Princess Jasmine’s signature ensemble! If Taylor were to just add gold earrings and a bright headband to her look, we could certainly be able to draw a direct comparison between the two looks.

Amanda Seyfried was definitely the belle of the ball when she stepped out at the 2018 Met Gala wearing a golden yellow dress. Many fashion critics made an instant connection to Belle from Beauty in the Beast when she stepped out wearing this dazzling yellow ballgown.

Zendaya replicated Cinderella’s ensemble for her 2019 Met Gala look and she even brought along a personal Fairy Godfather! Her look consisted of an iridescent skirt, puff shoulders, a blonde wig, and a delicate headband, just like Cinderella’s from the original film.

There’s an uncanny resemblance between Adele’s Givenchy Grammy dress from 2017 and Princess Anna’s classic green dress from Frozen. The rich shade of green and the directional pattern of both their looks appear remarkably similar! Adele even wore her hair in a loose updo just like Princess Anna.

We can’t help but compare this look Kerry Washington wore to the Met Gala in 2011 to Princess Jasmine’s signature look in Aladdin. Both looks are a flattering shade of light teal and the cutouts on Washington’s look definitely resemble Jasmine’s two-piece set. Kerry even wore her hair in thick curls just like Princess Jasmine’s!

There’s no denying how similar Elle Fanning looked to Queen Elsa from Frozen when she attended the Maleficent World Premiere. The dress she wore featured a similar off-the-shoulder neckline and glittering blue beading just like Elsa’s!

There’s definitely a resemblance between the flowy princess gown that Amal Clooney wore to the Cannes Film Festival in 2017 and Rapunzel’s signature purple gown. The shade of lavender and corset detailing of Amal’s look is nearly identical to Rapunzel’s!

Heidi Klum definitely channeled her inner Princess Jasmine when she stepped out on the red carpet to attend the Emmys in 2012. The soft teal color of her dress is remarkably similar to Jasmine’s most recognizable look in Aladdin. The sheer detailing of Klum’s skirt is also quite reminiscent of Princess Jasmine’s wispy pants.

Keira Knightley has definitely tested out quite a few different hairstyles throughout the years! One of her most memorable hairstyles is when she had long flowing blond tresses, similar to Rapunzel’s!
