ACM Awards 2018: 12 Best Dressed Stars
Published on April 16, 2018.The country music industry isn’t necessarily known for fashion, but this might be a notion of the past based on this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards red carpet! The biggest stars of the country industry brought their A-game this year with some of the most stunning flowing gowns and dapper suits. Follow along for 12 of the best-dressed stars from the 2018 ACM Awards:
12. RaeLynn
“God Made Girls” singer RaeLynn looked absolutely stunning in this sheer lilac flowing gown. Her look was sultry by having sheer paneling, yet still totally appropriate. Finding this balance is key when it comes to a winning red carpet moment and RaeLynn definitely achieved that.

Sheer detailing seemed to be an ongoing fashion trend on the red carpet last night and Lauren Alaina also proved she mastered this look. Her black gown consisted of soft blue floral detailing alongside a sheer neckline and skirt. The look showed off her legs without being too revealing, which is exactly why we love this look!
EPA/NINA PROMMER10. Thomas Rhett & Laura Akins
Thomas Rhett and Laura Akins are one of country music’s power couples and they certainly dressed the part for the 2018 ACM’s. Rhett looked handsome as ever in a dapper suit paired with burgundy shoes and a matching tie. Akins’ silver dress was ethereal and stunning, but we especially love that she rocked a red lip to pick up on the colors of Rhett’s look. This is subtle color coordination at its finest!

Former The Voice winner Danielle Bradbery looked absolutely ethereal on last night’s ACM red carpet. Her gown was a serious win when it comes to color blocking which is often a difficult style to pull off. The soft rose-colored fringe detailing paired with the whimsical tulle skirt was the perfect combination for a standout fashion moment.

Maren Morris never opts for something traditional when it comes to her red carpet fashion. Although a few of these risks have led to worst-dressed fashion moments in the past, we’re happy to say her ACM look was not one of them! The sleek body-hugging shape flattered her curves and the multi-color texture was just unique enough to make her stand out and look different among a sea of embroidered, sheer dresses.

Cassadee Pope killed the power suit game when she stepped out in this sleek velvet tuxedo on the 2018 ACM red carpet. We love when women opt for a masculine look instead of a traditional ballgown on the red carpet. Pope mastered this style by still showing a little skin with the deep V neckline to lighten the look and add sex appeal.

Julia Michaels undeniably turned heads at the ACM’s this year in this powder blue mini dress! Typically opting for a short hemline for a formal awards show could be quite risky, but Michaels pulled it off flawlessly. We love the details of the sheer sleeves and the soft embroidery which gives the dress dimension and charm.

The country music industry has quite a few men who need some serious help in the fashion department, but newbie Brett Young definitely isn’t one of them. Young looked charming as ever in this sharp navy suit which he paired with a classic white button-up and black loafers. Sometimes a timeless, well-fitting suit can make a man standout even more so than an embellished country disaster!

Reba McEntire absolutely stunned this year at the ACM’s. Her crisp white gown was highly flattering on her figure and featured country fashion touches in the most tasteful way possible. Typically rhinestones and fringe are associated with country music fashion, both of which Reba wore, but she managed to make them look glamorous and red carpet-worthy.
EPA/NINA PROMMER3. Maddie Marlow & Tae Dye
Maddie Marlow and Tae Dye are some of country music’s leading fashionistas, and they definitely did not let us down for the 2018 ACM’s. Maddie Marlow wore a soft lavender gown that featured a corset-inspired bodice and tiered layering along the skirt. Tae Dye stood beside her looking just as fabulous in a black, floral embroidered tea-length gown which she paired with satin strappy heels and a matching clutch.

Kelsea Ballerini pulled a Marilyn Monroe moment at this year’s ACM’s in this chic and whimsical white gown. We love the sheer lingerie-inspired bodice paired with the pleated flowing skirt. The balance of a feminine shape with sultry, sheer detailing was absolute perfection.

Miranda Lambert was red hot on this year’s ACM red carpet! Lambert always delivers in the fashion department when it comes to award shows and this year was no different. We love the unique strappy detailing on the chest of the gown which added the perfect touch of glitz. The bright crimson color was the perfect contrast with Lambert’s blonde tresses and fair complexion.
