20. Miss: Joey King
Joey King stepped out at the Critics’ Choice Awards wearing a high-shine Prada dress with bow detailing on the shoulders. While we love how elevated and glamorous this look feels, we’re not sure we’re fans of the crinkled metallic texture which made it come across a little cheap.

Florence Pugh dazzled at the 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards where she opted for a glitzy silver dress with a square cut neckline. We love all the three-dimensional sequins and beading on this dress, which made it really stand out from the crowd.

Mandy Moore missed the mark with her look for this year’s Critics’ Choice Awards. While we’re actually huge fans of this strapless black jumpsuit with gold embellishment; we’re not sure the cape detail was necessary and seemed to detract from the look as a whole.

Rachel Brosnahan looked stunning at this year’s Critics’ Choice Awards where she rocked a tangerine dress with silver beading. We love this unlikely combination of orange and silver, which is one we don’t often see, but work really well together. The slightly poofed shape around the hips also made it feel really high-fashion and trendy.
Press Association16. Miss: Molly Sims
Molly Sims missed the mark with her look for the 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards. This dress simply had a lot going on at once from the polka dots to the lace to the pussybow detailing on the neckline.
Press Association15. Hit: Phoebe Waller-Bridge
Phoebe Waller-Bridge stunned at the Critics’ Choice Awards wearing this black Dior dress with sheer detailing. We love the elegant yet sultry feel of this dress with the combination of the floating tulle and the structured bustier.
Press Association14. Miss: Lupita Nyong’o
Lupita Nyong’o had a rare fashion misstep at this year’s Critics’ Choice Awards! The star opted for a chocolate brown dress which was a combination of chiffon and leather and wore her hair in a dramatically coiffed updo. For someone as stylish as Lupita, this look seemed to lack the glamour factor since it was so minimal and simple.
Press Association13. Hit: Laura Dern
Laura Dern looked stunning at the 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards this year where she stepped out wearing this vibrant orange dress. We love the Cinderella shape of this gown which feels really elegant and the color worked beautifully to highlight Dern’s complexion.

Awkwafina missed the mark with this yellow look she opted for at the 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards. While this color is quite pretty, the shape of the dress seemed to drown her figure with the draping sleeves and excess of fabric.
Press Association11. Hit: Lucy Hale
Lucy Hale dazzled at the 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards where she stepped out wearing this aqua-colored dress by Miu Miu. We love the flattering halter-shape of this dress and the chandelier detailing on the waist which adds something really unique and glitzy. She tied the whole look together by accessorizing with a black clutch that perfectly coordinated with the black bow on the waist of the dress.

Olivia Wilde had a fashion misstep at this year’s 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards where she stepped out wearing this coral-colored number. While this warm salmon tone looks fabulous against her hair and skin tone, we’re not sure the shape of this dress is the most flattering with its oversized sleeves and heavy pleats.
Press Association9. Hit: Zendaya
Zendaya stunned at the 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards where she rocked this magenta colored number by Tom Ford. A look like this is quite bold which makes it a difficult one to pull off, but Zendaya did so with ease.
Press Association8. Miss: Saoirse Ronan
We have to admit we weren’t the biggest fans of this coral floral look worn by Saoirse Ronan for the Critics’ Choice Awards this year. The look had quite a few over-the-top details like the long cape, ruffled skirt, and bold pattern.
Press Association7. Hit: Nicole Kidman
Nicole Kidman made heads turn at this year’s Critics’ Choice Awards where she rocked this striking black dress. The flared shape of this skirt did wonders to show off her tall, slender figure and the lace overlay was so elegant.

We admittedly didn’t love the look that Charlize Theron opted for at this year’s Critics’ Choice Awards. While the slinky metallic dress was actually quite pretty, the black blazer she layered on top totally distracted from its detail and shape.
Press Association5. Hit: Anne Hathaway
Anne Hathaway was a total bombshell at this year’s Critics’ Choice Awards where she stepped out post-baby rocking this gold glitter number. The bold sleeves and plunging neckline worked perfectly together to be elegant yet still a little sultry.

Cynthia Erivo didn’t hold back with her look for this year’s Critics’ Choice Awards. The star opted for a bold geometric look that we felt was a little over the top! This look would have been much better suited for something more experimental like the Met Gala.
Press Association3. Hit: Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez had one of her classiest fashion moments to date at this year’s Critics’ Choice Awards. This muted champagne-color is a difficult one to pull off, but J.Lo did so flawlessly with her sunkissed skin and honey-colored tresses. We love the high neckline and dainty embellishment on this elegant number.

Kristen Bell had an unfortunate fashion miss at this year’s Critics’ Choice Awards where she opted for a lime green satin jumpsuit. The combination of the high-shine material and bold color was enough to be over the top, but this look also involved a cape which definitely felt unnecessary.
(Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP)1. Hit: Kate Beckinsale
Kate Beckinsale stole the show at this year’s Critics’ Choice Awards where she opted for a lilac-colored dress with silver beading throughout. We love this feminine color combo of silver and purple, especially paired with this glamorous train and one-shoulder detail.
