Ashley Benson missed the mark with her look for the Golden Globes after-party this year. While we love the sparkle detailing, the cutout on the bodice of this dress seemed to be placed at an awkward location.
Press Association35. Hit: Bella Thorne
Bella Thorne looked stunning at this year’s Golden Globes after-party! The sleek white dress fit her like a glove and we love the unique gold embellishment trailing the bodice.

We weren’t the biggest fans of this aqua dress worn by Connie Britton at the Golden Globes’ after-party! While this color is a pretty contrast against her strawberry locks, this look felt more like a prom dress than a glam after-party look with its empire waist and sparkling bodice.
Press Association33. Hit: Gabrielle Dennis
Gabrielle Dennis looked gorgeous at this year’s HBO after-party wearing a velvet dress in a warm shade of gold. We love all the flattering pleating which cinched in her waist and the cape detail added the perfect Golden Globes glamour factor!
Press Association32. Miss: Kat Graham
While we love the idea of a rich velvet dress for an after-party, we’re not sure this one worn by Kat Graham was a favorite of ours. The high-neckline, structured shoulders and dark coloring all felt a little harsh for a light-hearted party.

Brittany Snow looked stunning at the InStyle after-party wearing an icy blue dress with sheer layering and an elegant off-the-shoulder neckline! This was the perfect sophisticated yet fun party look.

Laverne Cox opted for a dramatic orange gown for the Golden Globes after-party this year. While this dress was actually super pretty on her, we simply found it a little too dramatic for an after-party!
Press Association29. Hit: Bethany Joy Lenz
Former One Tree Hill star Bethany Joy Lenz looked gorgeous in this blue tulle dress at the Amazon Studios Golden Globes after-party. We love the frilly details along the bust and waist which add a feminine, girly quality.

Rachel Brosnahan missed the mark with this magenta look she wore to the Golden Globes after-party. While we love this shade of pink on her, we weren’t huge fans of the ruching and ruffles on this dress which felt like too much combined with the sequins.
© OConnor / AFF-USA.com27. Hit: Sophia Bush
Sophia Bush looked gorgeous in blue at this year’s Golden Globes after-party. This color definitely gave us all the Cinderella vibes and the elegant off-the-shoulder neckline and dainty buttons on the bodice were perfect feminine details.
Press Association26. Miss: Halston Sage
Halston Sage stepped out wearing a sheer embroidered look for the Golden Globes after-party this year that we’re not sure we were the biggest fans of. The oversized blue bow felt out of place and we wish she wore a higher coverage slip underneath.
Press Association25. Hit: Ashley Madekwe
Ashley Madekwe dazzled at the Golden Globes after-party wearing this white beaded dress. We love the dainty straps and glitter beading which felt glamorous and party-appropriate yet still totally elegant.
Press Association24. Miss: Bebe Rexha
Bebe Rexha missed the mark with her look for the Golden Globes after-party this year. While we love the puff sleeve trend that’s been circulating this year, this version of the trend felt a little over the top with the combination of embroidery covering the shoulders.
Press Association23. Hit: Kate Bosworth
Kate Bosworth had all eyes on her at the Golden Globes after-party where she stepped out wearing this magenta long sleeve dress. We absolutely love this vibrant color on her and the subtle pleating and thigh-high slit were stunning details.
Press Association22. Miss: Cynthia Erivo
Cynthia Erivo wore a tuxedo-inspired look for the Golden Globes after-party this year that we weren’t the biggest fans of. The shorts sat at an awkward length and the suit jacket had a strange high-low detail that wasn’t the most flattering.
(Photo by Amy Sussman/Getty Images)21. Hit: Camila Morrone
Camila Morrone rocked a sleek black dress for the Golden Globes after-party this year that looked stunning on her. The shape of this dress clung to her body perfectly and the sparkling underlay on the bust was the perfect glam detail.
Press Association20. Miss: Madeline Brewer
Madeline Brewer missed the mark with her look for the Golden Globes after-party this year. While we love the ruffles and deep neckline of this white number, we’re not sure the red rose detail flowed well with the rest of the dress.
Press Association19. Hit: Troian Bellisario
Troian Bellisario stunned in a white and baby pink look for the Golden Globes after-party this year! She shared on Instagram that part of the dress was actually re-purposed from her wedding gown, which is definitely something we admire.

Shay Mitchell rocked a floral dress with long sleeves for the Golden Globes after-party this year. We felt that the print of this dress was a little overwhelming since it was so large-scale and bold.
© OConnor / AFF-USA.com17. Hit: Ariel Winter
Ariel Winter looked so chic at the Golden Globes after-party! We love that this neon green shade is attention-grabbing but the shape of the dress itself is simple and clean. The one-shoulder neckline is also a stunning detail.
© OConnor / AFF-USA.com16. Miss: Abigail Spencer
Abigail Spencer missed the mark with her look for the Golden Globes after-party this year. The combination of the black tulle felt a little harsh for a light-hearted after-party, especially with the flared tulle sleeves which felt like an unnecessary detail.
Press Association15. Hit: Hailey Bieber
Hailey Bieber had all eyes on her at the 2020 Golden Globes after-party where she rocked a black long sleeve mini dress. We love the blazer-inspired shape of this dress and the black belt detail really cinched in her waist.
Press Association14. Miss: Molly Sims
Molly Sims wore a feathered dress that we admittedly weren’t fans of for the 2020 Golden Globes after-party. We would have much preferred to see feathers incorporated in a more subtle way.
(Photo by Amy Sussman/Getty Images)13. Hit: Sarah Hyland
Sarah Hyland looked stunning in baby pink at the Golden Globes after-party! This color worked beautifully to highlight her olive complexion and we love the floral embroidery on the bust.
Press Association12. Miss: Alison Pill
Alison Pill missed the mark with her look for the Amazon Studios Golden Globes after-party. This basic floral print felt a little dull in comparison to some of the other sparkling and beaded looks we saw at the after-parties.
(Photo by Jerod Harris/Getty Images)11. Hit: Nina Dobrev
Nina Dobrev dazzled at the Golden Globes after-party wearing this sequined dress with sheer detailing on the skirt. We absolutely love this color combination of eggplant purple and burgundy which isn’t one we see often on the red carpet.
Press Association10. Miss: AJ Michalka
AJ Michalka opted for a pink embroidered number for the Golden Globes after-party this year that seemed to miss the mark. The combination of the two-tone pink stripes and the heavy floral embroidery didn’t mix well together.
(Photo by Jerod Harris/Getty Images)9. Hit: Yara Shahidi
Yara Shahidi made heads turn when she stepped out wearing this vibrant yellow dress for the Golden Globes after-party. We absolutely love this fun color against her skin tone and the dramatic train detail was super glamorous.
Press Association8. Miss: AnnaLynne McCord
AnnaLynne McCord missed the mark with her look for the 2020 Golden Globes after-party. The fringe on the bodice felt quite awkward and the proportions of this dress weren’t cut in the most flattering way.
(Photo by Jerod Harris/Getty Images)7. Hit: Paris Hilton
Paris Hilton dazzled at the 2020 Golden Globes after-party where she rocked a sheer dress with silver glitter beading. We love the flattering pattern on this dress which really highlighted her curves.
© OConnor / AFF-USA.com6. Miss: Kate Beckinsale
Kate Beckinsale missed the mark with her party look for the 2020 Golden Globes after-party. Her teased hair felt quite outdated and the sleeves on this dress were overwhelmingly oversized.
Press Association5. Hit: Jessica Alba
Jessica Alba looked stunning in this metallic tier dress at the 2020 Golden Globes after-party. The tiers added such a fun and unique shape, which really stood out among the sea of other sparkling after-party looks.
© OConnor / AFF-USA.com4. Miss: Martha Stewart
Martha Stewart missed the mark with this black look she wore to the Netflix Golden Globes after-party. This look had way too much fabric and not enough detail which ended up blending altogether into an unflattering shape.
(Photo by Michael Kovac/Getty Images for Netflix)3. Hit: Nicole Scherzinger
Nicole Scherzinger looked so glam at the Golden Globes after-party wearing this one-shoulder white number. This look was simple and elegant, but still totally party-worthy with the body-hugging shape and asymmetrical neckline.
© OConnor / AFF-USA.com2. Miss: Kathryn Newton
We weren’t the biggest fans of this white embroidered number worn by Kathryn Newton at the HBO after-party. She seemed to drown in all the competing details of this dress from the embroidery to the feathers to the tulle.
Press Association1. Hit: Scarlett Johansson
Scarlet Johansson looked stunning at the Golden Globes after-party where she rocked this feathered pink minidress. Feathers were a huge trend in 2019 and we’re happy to see it carrying over into the new year. This soft pink color and the airy feathers worked together to create the perfect show-stopping party look.
