Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown is one of Hollywood’s youngest fashionistas! She’s proved time and time again with her red carpet fashion that she’s got a bold sense of style. She’s an up-and-coming Hollywood style icon, so follow along as we rank all her hits and misses on the red carpet throughout the past few years:

20. Miss: August 2017

Of all of Millie Bobby Brown’s red carpet moments, we have to admit this trouser look isn’t a favorite. The sparkling top and black trousers seemed a little too mature for such a young actress. We love to see her in bright colors and fun patterns that reflect her age, and this sharp, dark outfit simply didn’t reflect that.

19. Hit: November 2017

One of Millie’s earlier red carpet moments was when she attended the Emmys in 2017. The dress she wore was absolute perfection. We love the large, tulle skirt which felt really age-appropriate and feminine; however, the look was quite sophisticated at the same time with the simple shape and satin sash.

18. Miss: May 2017

Another one of Millie’s looks that we weren’t the biggest fans of was this white shift dress she wore to the MTV awards in May 2017. While the dress itself is quite lovely on her, the chunky cowboy boots seem to detract from the look. Western-inspired pieces had a huge moment in 2017; however, we’re not sure this was the right occasion to style them.

17. Hit: January 2017

It’s clear Millie Bobby Brown was quite young when she stepped out onto the red carpet in January 2017 for the SAG awards. For the event, she opted for a gorgeous cherry red dress that belted at the waist. She slicked her hair back and added a feminine headband to finish her look. We love how elegant and classy she looks, even at such a young age!

16. Miss: August 2017

Millie Bobby Brown went through a phase in 2017 when she was trying to nail down her signature style, which meant a lot of experimentation! As much as we love her tendency to break boundaries with her fashion, we have to admit this edgy look wasn’t one of our faves. The sharp collar, heavy boots, and dark colors all felt quite heavy

15. Hit: January 2017

One of Millie Bobby Brown’s glitziest looks is the sparkling silver dress she wore in January 2017. Everything about this look is flawless from her sleek hair to her red lip to the 3D glittering texture of the dress. She even perfectly coordinated her shoes to match the silver detailing on the dress!

14. Miss: February 2018

One of Millie’s most confusing looks is this black dress she wore in February 2018. It reminded us of the material of a padded winter jacket, which isn’t a good look for anyone, even someone as naturally stylish as Millie Bobby Brown!

13. Hit: May 2019

Millie Bobby Brown definitely made heads turn when she stepped out onto the red carpet for the Godzilla premiere in May 2019. She opted for a long tulle dress with floral detailing and an oversized bow on the shoulder. The train on this dress is absolutely fabulous and exudes Hollywood glamour!

12. Miss: March 2018

While there are some tulle dresses of Millie Bobby Brown’s that we swooned over, others we were less than impressed by. We, unfortunately, didn’t love the dress she wore to the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2018. The oversized bubble-like shape of the dress wasn’t the most flattering or elegant!

11. Hit: March 2018

In March 2018, Millie stepped out to attend a Hollywood event wearing a black dress covered in an array of different sized stars. We love how this look feels a little edgy, especially with her dark makeup and loose curls, but also super youthful and fun with the tulle and metallic star detailing.

10. Miss: January 2018

We, unfortunately, weren’t huge fans of Millie Bobby Brown’s Golden Globes look in 2018. The bodice of this look wasn’t the most flattering, especially with the oversized collar detailing. We would have loved to see her wearing something a little less heavy.

9. Hit: August 2017

Millie let her funky side shine through when she stepped out at the 2017 Teen Choice Awards wearing a bright yellow dress and tiny ’90s inspired sunglasses. We love that she doesn’t play it safe with her fashion and favors pieces that step outside the box. She accessorized perfectly with these yellow and orange strappy heels.

8. Miss: October 2017

Millie stepped out wearing a button-up leather dress in October 2017 that she accessorized with white slingback heels. While a leather dress like this is certainly red-carpet worthy, we’re not sure it was an appropriate choice. A full leather dress feels quite stifling and heavy for someone so young! We definitely love this edgy side of her, but it would be nice to do in moderation given her age.

7. Hit: May 2019

Millie Bobby Brown looked absolutely angelic when she stepped out in May 2019 for a film premiere. We absolutely love how airy and whimsical this dress looks on her! The cutouts and lace texture were super refreshing among the many black dresses she tended to favor in the past.

6. Miss: August 2017

We have to admit we weren’t huge fans of this look worn by Millie Bobby Brown for the 2017 VMA awards. The look simply had too much going on from the sheer paneling to the metallic detailing and heavy black combat boots.

5. Hit: August 2018

Millie Bobby Brown looked totally glamorous and trendy at the 2018 VMA awards where she stepped out wearing this black two-piece set! The best feature of this look is the dramatic tulle shoulders which add a whimsical, youthful feel to an otherwise quite sophisticated look.

4. Miss: April 2018

While we absolutely love Millie’s fondness of floor-length ball gowns, there is one detail of this look that we were less than impressed by — the large floral embroidery! The large and colorful floral applique seemed quite excessive and overbearing. We would have much preferred this look with subtle, understated detailing since the dress itself is so lovely.

This is one of Millie Bobby Brown’s best looks of all time, in our opinion! We love how she added a youthful touch with the space bun hairstyle, pink sparkles, and converse shoes. The train of this dress added the red-carpet glamour factor, but the entire look was still age-appropriate and fun.

2. Miss: June 2019

While we love when Millie steps out wearing something pink and whimsical, this look she wore in June 2019 felt a little over-the-top. From the frothy pink tulle to the ruffles to the oversized bow on her back, this look certainly had a lot going on, and we’re not sure it was for the better.

Our all-time favorite Millie Bobby Brown look has to be this sparkling champagne look she wore in May 2019. The number truly proved how much she’s grown in the past few years in the spotlight and she’s clearly become a young woman right in front of our eyes! The look was mature, glamorous and totally swoon-worthy.
