With just over a month to go before the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards storm the stage at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, fans are getting more and more information about the big awards show. On Monday, July 20, Miley Cyrus revealed via her Instagram and Twitter that she had been selected to host the VMAs and, only a day later, the nominations have been announced.

To say that Swift has been dominating the music industry in recent years is an understatement, so it is unsurprising to learn that she leads the way with the most awards nods following the announcement of the nominations.

The 25-year old star has received nine nominations including, Video of the Year for “Bad Blood,” Best Female Video for “Blank Space,” Best Pop Video for “Blank Space,” Best Collaboration, Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Direction, Best Editing, and Best Visual Effects.

Her good friend Ed Sheeran is close on her heels with six nods and, of course, Beyonce rounds out the top three with five nominations. While they will all probably win at least one Moonmen Award for their videos, all three are competing against each other in the Video of the Year and Best Pop Video categories, lending intrigue to who will come out on top.

The MTV Music Video Awards will air on August 30 at 9 p.m. Check out the full list of nominees below:
