Academy Award Nominee Ned Beatty Has Passed

Academy Award and Emmy nominee Ned Beatty has passed.

According to reports, Beatty passed from natural causes on Sunday at the age of 83. It was revealed that the actor passed in his sleep surrounded by family at around 7:30 am.

Beatty has become known for many films throughout the years, but he had his first debut in Hollywood back in 1972’s Deliverance. He is well known for his work in films such as SupermanNetwork, and Toy Story 3, as well as television shows like Szysznyk and Homicide: Life on the Street.

The late actor was also nominated for many awards throughout the years. Beatty was nominated for a Golden Globe in 1991 for Hear My Song and an Academy Award in 1976 for his work in Network. He was also nominated for Emmys for his roles in 1979’s Friendly Fire and 1989’s Last Train Home.

In more recent years, Beatty received an MTV Movie Award for Best Villain nomination after voicing Lots-O’-Huggin’ Bear in the third Toy Story film.

Beatty definitely left a name for himself in the world of Hollywood with an impressive 166 credits to his name over the years. He will be greatly missed.
