Bachelor In Paradise’s Jenna Cooper Releases Statement After Cheating ScandalPublished on September 13, 2018.
It certainly looks like there will be no happily ever after for Jordan Kimball and Jenna Cooper following their engagement on the season finale of Bachelor in Paradise.
Only hours after the season five finale premiered, spoiler and gossip site RealitySteve.com published an article in which apparent texts from Jenna Cooper to an unidentified seemed to reveal she was cheating on her new fiance, Jordan Kimball.
While Cooper adamantly denied the cheating claims, Kimball confessed that he believed those texts were in fact from his fiancee and was heartbroken and blindsided by the alleged affair. Although at the time Kimball didn’t confirm that the pair had broken up, he did say so later that day.
“To think, to feel, to fall. These emotions interact with experiences and people, when you find a person you think about them, you feel when they feel and sometimes you fall,” Jordan began on Wednesday, September 12, via Instagram. “When you’re in love with even the experiences you’ve had with them it’s something to respect. Being careless with someone that you give your heart to and reach milestones with isn’t sensible no matter what the terms may be. I have not had an easy life and having struggles allows me to grab onto tough times and discard them from my path. I deal with unreasonable circumstances reasonably and have come to terms with a decision to remove myself from the relationship, it breaks my heart to think, feel and fall for this. It’s dropped me.”
He added: “Fumbling emotions and being understanding is not easy. I’ll be taking time to pursue my inner peace and she will always have me to talk to, if you’ve reached out to me, allow me time. Thank you to those that have.”
Through everything, Cooper is standing by her claims that those texts were not from her and she did not cheat, and on Wednesday, September 12 she issued a statement on the matter.
“I want to start by saying those texts were completely fabricated, and I never sent them to anyone. I did not cheat on Jordan, and I have nothing to hide,” she wrote. “I have been extremely open and vulnerable throughout this whole process. I was looking for love, and I found it. I was excited to share this journey with all of you. I am hurt by these fake texts, and that anyone would believe this story so quickly without proof. I have an attorney helping me investigate this hurtful and fraudulent attack on my character. We are evaluating all legal remedies available to punish those responsible.”
Prior to the bombshell allegations, the pair were actually planning their televised wedding.
“It’s going to be a ‘50s theme, black and white party. Limited, not just anyone is going to be coming to this,” Jordan said and revealed they had asked Chris Harrison to officiate their June 2019 nuptials. “It’ll be a production, I can say that. Then after, it’s going to be a big party. I’m not too crazy, but it might get crazy later.”
